cube cake - Bakery in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

I love love love this place so much, this could easily be my new favourite bakery in town. I have tried almost all the hottest patisserie in town and there is no place that can do the fluffy, subtly sweet cakes to my taste like Cube cake. I’m obsessed with all their mont blanc cakes (my favourite is matcha and ube), while my husband loves their choco pink salt. I also love their other cakes such as jerry’s cheese (tangy sweet mousse cake) and their newest addition - ube butter rice cakes. The drinks were decent but it didn’t stand out like the cakes. The shop has limited seatings but it has its own charm: quaint and peaceful, tucked away in Thao Dien like a true hidden gem of Saigon.

A small cake shop serving drinks and French desserts with an Asian and Japanese-inspired twist. I ordered the Ube Mont Blanc — it was good, but a touch too sweet for my taste so I couldn’t finish it in one sitting. Prices are on the higher side, and they currently only accept cashless payment.

Handmade cakes made by a Japanese baker. They weren’t too sweet and were absolutely delicious. They looked adorable, and I was very satisfied. The matcha Mont Blanc had a chocolate crust and small cookies inside. The purple sweet potato Mont Blanc had pudding inside, and you could really taste the rich flavor of the purple sweet potato. This is a place I highly recommend stopping by when you visit Tao Dien,

The cakes are tasty. However, the chocolate cake is somehow too sweet for me. The price is okay. The set of wine and Jerry's cheese is good.
