Best coconut coffee around. The ambience is very calm and soothing. Full of greenery and there is even a play area for children.

Cộng Cà Phê is one of those places where time seems to slow down a little. Away from the rush, it offers a shaded and relaxed environment where people come to unwind, have a quiet conversation, or simply open their laptop and get some work done. There’s a certain calmness in the atmosphere that makes it easy to stay longer than you initially planned. I stopped by for a late breakfast, leaning into an early lunch, and decided to try the Bún Riêu. It was decent, but fairly standard, the kind of dish that satisfies without really standing out. Nothing wrong with it, but also nothing particularly memorable. In a way, it matched the neutral, easygoing vibe of the place. What truly stood out, however, was the nước cóc ép (ambarella juice). This was something else entirely. Served with a delicate rim of salted plum salt, it created a balance of flavors that immediately caught my attention. slightly sour, with that subtle salty edge, it was one of those small details that transformed a simple drink into something special. I’ve had this juice many times before, but here it felt refined, almost perfected. To make sure it wasn’t just a one-off moment, I ordered a second glass, and it delivered exactly the same experience. Consistency like that is rare and worth mentioning. Sometimes it’s the smallest things that define a visit. While the food was average, that glass of juice genuinely made my day.

I seldom visit chain coffee shops in Vietnam. But due to Tet, there are not many cafes open, so I visited this cafe. I have visited other Cong cage before and they didn't impress me at all. But this time they slightly surprised me with the high quality of drinks. This branch provides food too. The cafe is spacious with both indoor and outdoor area. They even get a small pool in the cafe. Interior design is similar to other Cong cafes in Vietnam. However, the cafe can be better maintained. The table is not cleaned at all.

[내돈내산] This is the premium version of Cộng Cà Phê, so naturally the space is much larger and more open than most other branches. The layout feels relaxed, with plenty of room to sit comfortably, which already sets it apart. The coconut coffee is, as expected, very good. It’s a signature drink for a reason and tastes consistent with what people love about Cộng. Nothing surprising here, but it delivers exactly what you come for. That said, Thảo Điền is a premium area, and almost every café around here has a similar upscale feel. For me, this place fits into that category of cafés where you try once, enjoy the space, and move on to the next. Each café in this neighborhood has its own vibe, and it’s worth visiting them one by one.
