Wego Coffee Thảo Điền - Coffee shop in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

I stopped by Wego on my way home after the gym. While you see it from the main road, the entrance is a body hidden to the side, and you need to walk around by the pool to place an order. There’s plenty of outdoor seating by the pool, and a cool more cozy indoor seating with very good AC. The pleasant staff at the counter were very polite and explained the different coffees patiently and with great care. I ordered a Vietnamese salt coffee (robusta) which was excellent paired with a warm almond croissant. The place filled up pretty fast with students and digital workers. I can definitely see myself coming back to get some quiet work done.

The cafe is fairly small and tucked away in a nook in Tao Dien. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and the place had only a couple of patrons working on their laptops. I tried the salted coffee, with as little sugar as possible, and the staff were more than happy to accomodate. The coffee tasted great, although it was a bit on the small side. Prices seem to be average for the area. All in all, good spot to grab a take away coffee or a quick coffee with a friend.

Another cafe in Thao Dien. The Cafe is inside a villa and one may not notice it. Entering the villa, the Cafe is beside the pool. It serve both traditional Vietnamese coffee and also the latte and stuffs. People working in the area will often do take away. Good coffee with a nice environment.

A bit small but very welcoming. My husband and I came here in morning, the swimming pool scene with light strings made me wonder how this place would be beautiful at night. The beverages were new and tasted good. Maybe I would come back again.

Came across this place during my morning walk! A very cute and cozy cafe. The place is very instagrammable so I’m sure it would attract social media crowd. Love the overall vibe. There isn’t that many space though. The place is best for solo, couple, or maybe group of threes. I ordered a salted coffee and quite enjoyed it. Unfortunately they have limited food options..just the basic pastries. So I decided not to try and just sip my coffee. It’s a meeting point..not necessarily the main destination, let’s put it that way. For those who are looking for a cafe to work remotely from, or a place for a coffee date, highly recommend!
