Bếp than nướng để ngoài trời trên đường Xuân Thủy khó mà đi qua mà không ngoảnh lại — thịt heo và chả ướp gia vị xèo xèo trên than hồng, nhìn thấy ngay từ ngoài đường, đủ giúp phần lớn người đi ngang tự biết phải làm gì. Quán nằm ngay đối diện tiệm bánh mì heo quay nổi tiếng cùng dãy phố, một quầy ăn trưa nhỏ gọn đã xây được lượng khách ruột đông đảo — từ người dân địa phương đến dân expat sống ở đây lâu năm vẫn ghé đều đặn.
Tô đặc biệt là thứ không cần đắn đo: bún thịt nướng đầy đặn với thịt heo nướng, chả, chả giò giòn rụm, rau sống tươi và bún, tất cả gắn kết nhau bởi chén nước mắm pha theo kiểu riêng của quán mà nhiều khách quen nhắc tới như một điểm nhấn riêng. Tô bún xứng đáng hơn nhiều so với giá bán — trong một khu vực mà bữa trưa bình dân ngày càng khó tìm, đây vẫn là một trong số ít địa chỉ còn giữ được tỷ lệ chất lượng và chi phí hợp lý.
Quán nhỏ. Chỗ ngồi có hạn và không gian hoàn toàn thuần túy — không trang trí, không màu sắc, chỉ đơn giản là đồ ăn nhanh, thật, từ một gia đình đã làm nghề đủ lâu để biết chính xác mình đang làm gì. Sự thân thiện của bà chủ vẫn toát ra dù bất đồng ngôn ngữ, và có những khách quen đã biến những lần ghé mỗi tuần thành điều gì đó gần hơn với tình thân.
Quán mở từ thứ Hai đến thứ Năm và thứ Bảy, 9 giờ đến 18 giờ — nghỉ thứ Sáu và Chủ Nhật, nên xác nhận trước cho chắc. Khách ăn trưa qua lại nhanh, nhờ đó bếp than lúc nào cũng đỏ và thịt lúc nào cũng mới ra than suốt buổi. Với ai đang ở hoặc đi ngang Thảo Điền mà muốn một bữa cơm Việt đúng nghĩa mà không phải trả cái giá của quán cà phê bóng bẩy, quầy trên đường Xuân Thủy này là nơi người địa phương hay chỉ tay đến đầu tiên.

local family spot in front of one of my favorite roasted pork banh mi place . Came in for a quick bite and ordered the BÚN ĐẶC BIỆT that comes with Thịt nướng,Nem nướng,Chả giò Crilled pork Grilled sausages Spring rolls It came out pretty quick and there’s fish sauce on table you can make mix yourself to your likings. I thought it’s cheap and reasonable decent food here .
Food is amazing. Fresh and flavourful even at 1.30pm, almost after regular lunch hour. Boss/ staff is also very friendly. I wished I had tried this place much earlier.
Nice place for a quick Bun Thit Nuong! But quite small so easy to run out of space (can have like ~10-12 persons). Luckily, people eat fast so the pace is OK! The food is enjoyable and fast served.
Right across from that famous bánh mì heo quay place on Xuan Thuy Street, you will find this little gem. They are closed on Sundays, so keep that in mind. A truly temptation when you see their grill, sizzling with juicy, meaty goodness. Now you know, it is hard to resist. The đặc biệt bowl is a great choice, packed with flavourful, well marinated meat and sausage, crispy spring rolls, and fresh vegetables. And the fish sauce? Absolutely divine! The only downside is the seating. It is not the most comfortable, and the place is like a grill itself, especially on warm days.
I eat here regularly and I’m really impressed. I highly recommend this place. The food is very good, the fish sauce is perfect, and the staff are very friendly. :* :* ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘 ❤️ 💙
