The Story

About This Place

YUKINO Foods Japan occupies an unusual corner of the Thao Dien food scene — part Asian fusion kitchen, part bubble tea counter, part organic grocery — all operating within a tight 8AM to 6PM window that makes it firmly a daytime destination. The address on Nguyễn Duy Hiệu puts it within easy reach of the neighbourhood's residential blocks, and the combination of grab-and-go drinks alongside a curated selection of organic goods gives it a dual-purpose quality that most single-category spots in the area lack.

The Japanese element in the name points to the kitchen's general direction: lighter preparations, cleaner flavours, and an aesthetic sensibility that leans away from heavy sauces or street-food chaos. For a neighbourhood that skews toward expat families and health-conscious residents, that positioning is well-suited. The organic shop component adds another draw for regulars who want to eat a meal and pick up ingredients in the same stop.

With a 4.5 rating across 59 Google reviews, the reception has been consistently positive without being overwhelmingly reviewed — suggesting a loyal, repeat-visit crowd rather than a tourist-traffic spike. The decision to close on Sundays is notable; it keeps the operation tight and the quality presumably steadier across the six days it does open. For those working nearby or living in the Thảo Điền residential pocket, the early open time makes it a practical first stop of the day.

Hello! I’ve ordered from here twice already and can say this is the best matcha latte that you’ll get in this city for the price and quality. I feel less guilty about drinking the milk tea because its made of plant milk and soft tiny boba pearls that were marinated in honey. My coworkers and I ordered some drinks and found the situation with our Grab delivery to be difficult. The store owner was so kind to send us a delicious drink on the house for waiting so patiently. This is a great place with excellent service and I really enjoyed my time here. :)

Pick up your Pure Bioenergy drink from Yukino Thao Dien, District 2. Zero preservatives, artificial flavorings or colors or processed stimulant. Just natural goodness of carrot, orange and peach and a hint of coffee. Organic and Halal.

Super delicious with balanced sweetness This yummy matcha tea simply made my day… Guys highly recommend I’ll definitely come back to try more flavors.

Just tried to order on Grab, and they waited for 10mins only to cancel. Won't ever be wasting a second with this shop again.
