The owners are a very sweet elderly couple, and the pastries here genuinely made me feel like I was eating something my grandparents would make at home. When they saw me taking photos of the pastries and the shop, they enthusiastically shared stories about every little detail — even explaining the meaning behind each line of text displayed around the space. I’m someone who loves food and has reviewed many places, and beyond taste alone, the feeling of a place often shapes how I judge it. While the pastries themselves aren’t anything overly unique or groundbreaking, they still taste good and feel comforting — largely because of how warm and kind the owners are. They even walked me through every corner of the shop, explaining why certain things were placed where they were. Even the mirror in the shop was handmade and handwritten by the owner himself. Overall, the pastries are decent — the dough is slightly thick, but the fillings are good. I’d recommend the egg tart and the BBQ pork bun. A simple place, made special by the people running it.

I've only tried the HK egg tart but man, the best egg tart I've ever had. The texture was so smooth and silky (dunno how to describe it), especially when it was fresh out of the oven. Almost all the buns and egg tarts sell out fast cuz when i got there, they only had 1 HK egg tart left. Staff and owners are so friendly and kind. 10/10 experience
Guys, I'm a lowkey Vietnamese, found this place randomly by looking at Google map a few months ago. Since then, I come here every weekend. The buns and cakes here looks simple but very tasty, like you can eat those again and again, weeks after weeks, that's how tasty they are. But the thing worth mentioning is the place feels warm, fuzzy and welcoming, the owners are kind-hearted and friendly. Everything is handmade, fresh and they use high-quality ingredients so the quantity of each types might be limited. Just ask the staff and order in advance if possible. My favorites: the pan-fried pork/beef buns, the ham&eggs buns, the dumplings (best I've ever had), egg tarts, blueberry cakes, banana bread, apple pie, etc. Try as many as you can. I normally eat 4-5 buns/cakes in one go. And the milk tea is also a must try. If you have the chance, talk with the owners, they are the loveliest human on earth, I promise.
Soooooo goood, especially egg tart . I actually tried 8 kinds and all of them are so amazing: egg tart, pipeline char siu , chicken curry bun, tuna bun. Going to try more types. And the prices are so reasonable, from 22k only
This was an extremely disappointing and stressful experience, especially given how much effort we put in ahead of time to avoid exactly this kind of issue. I first learned about this bakery through TikTok and decided to support them based on the positive attention online. Several days before the event, I reached out to ask if they could handle a large custom order with early-morning delivery. They showed no hesitation in accepting the order and assured us it would not be a problem. Because the order was very important, I also went to the store in person to reconfirm the timing and emphasize how critical it was. The food was intended to feed elderly family members for breakfast before a traditional tea ceremony and a full wedding schedule. On the day of the order, we were informed of a delay and told they would send two separate deliveries, starting with whatever was ready first. We waited, but nothing arrived. After we had to call them ourselves to follow up, they changed their explanation and said everything was “almost ready” and would be sent together instead. The poor communication only added to the stress. Ultimately, the order arrived 1.5 hours late. By that time, many people had already left for the tea ceremony and were committed to wedding events for the rest of the day. As a result, a large portion of the food could not be eaten and had to be thrown away. What should have been a simple breakfast turned into a major problem. After all of this, the bakery offered only a 10% discount, which I did not accept. I still paid the full amount despite the delay, wasted food, and disruption. I understand this bakery is run by two older owners, and I respect small businesses, but for an order of this size and importance, timing and honest communication are essential. Beyond the service issues, the food quality did not live up to expectations either. The pineapple buns were small and did not taste like authentic Hong Kong–style pineapple buns that I am familiar with. The only items I genuinely enjoyed during my visit were the chocolate cookies and the brownie. Overall, this experience caused unnecessary stress for the bride and groom’s family on a day that should have been focused on celebration. Despite the hype on social media, I would NOT RECOMMEND this bakery, especially for time-sensitive or important events.
