During the time I lived in HCMC, Vietnam, I had the chance to discover Shalom Cafe. At that time, it was one of the best coffee places in the city for me. On my recent visit back to the An Phu area in District 2 of HCMC, I was delighted to rediscover Shalom Cafe at Trophic Garden. Following a staff recommendation, I decided to try their avocado coffee. At first, I thought, 'Wouldn't that be a strange combination?' But contrary to my expectations, the flavors blended surprisingly well in a clean and balanced way. I felt like I got both an extra boost of energy and a great cup of coffee at the same time. I also really loved that Shalom Cafe uses reusable straws as part of its commitment to caring for the environment. If you're planning a trip to HCMC, I highly recommend stopping by Shalom Cafe to enjoy a great cup of coffee and some peaceful, relaxing time.
Love their coffee! I drink it every morning with beans I get from Shalom. And the iced matcha latte here is the best—not too sweet and great balanced matcha flavor without bitterness. My son enjoys the brownies and muffins for a snack. 😊 The atmosphere and staff make this a great place to meet up with friends. (I can actually hear the conversation with friends here, unlike other cafes which play their music way too loud!)
the most simple dishes (almost so simple in their execution it is offensive) for the most steep prices. there may be no better example than shalom for a place that really isn’t worth it. and has no particular good reason as to why it should still exist.
It’s a cafe situated in Tropic Garden apartment in Thao Dien, District 2. Nothing impressive about the drinks and food, but I like that it’s spacious and quiet. Most guests here are the apartment’s or nearby residences. One can easily stay here to work all day long.
