Munch Bistrobar - Bar & grill in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

Great little bar. Come and play some darts. Grab a taco or hot dog.

Came through for the 2-for-1 burger special and was genuinely excited — the menu looks great and the place has a nice vibe. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to that. We were told they had run out of burger buns… during a burger special. That turned into over an hour wait, with no real updates and no apology. Eventually we were offered our burgers on sweet bread instead, which at that point we accepted out of pure hunger. When the food finally came, there was still no acknowledgment of the delay — not even something small like extra fries to make up for it. To top it off, I even found a hair in my sauce, which didn’t help the situation at all. Also worth noting: cocktails were on the menu but unavailable because there was no one who could make them. It’s frustrating because the concept and menu are genuinely good, but the service and management really let the experience down. Not a bad spot — just very poorly handled on the day

Terrific food all made in-house. Some quality dart boards of you're into throwing. Mark the owner is laid back with a good attitude and a healthy pallet. If you want good eats, want some laughs and drink some cold snacks check out munch bistro in D2. 2 minute walk from Tao Diên

Only one guy working (cook, waiter, cashier), so you have to go to the guy to make an order or to pay. The speed is what you would expect for being the only guy working and the only customer (when I made my order). The crunch wrap was the thing that drew me to here, yet the burger was better. The crunch wrap supreme (139K/$5.60) was actually quite plain tasting, surprisingly almost flavorless. I wish there was salsa & guacamole (maybe that's orderable) and not just hot sauce. The double patty was only 30K/$1.20 more than the single patty. They're smash burger style patties. They were, not bad... For the price (190K/$7.65), I think it's alright. This doesn't make my Top Burgers list, but I've had worse. Nit only will you pay 8% VAT, you will be charge 3% for the one guy to make and bring you the food. My total for the 2 items was ₫365,980/$14.75. The restaurant is part of a neat collection of restaurants/shops.

Only reviewing their pop up stand at MixTape in D1. Tried their tacos and they are very very similar to Taco Bell. So if you missing the Bell look no further as this guy makes them in a delicious way.
