The atmosphere is really good and all if a cats are a different race,it was very nice and there were alot of games, pet games and things to buy.It is more of a cat cafe the dog because there were less things for them but it was really good.

MAME Shiba Cafe - Coffee shop in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City
About This Place
MAME Shiba Cafe operates on a ticketed system: entry is purchased downstairs before guests head up to choose between the Shiba Inu section, the cat lounge, or both. Combo tickets bundling admission with a drink or pastry cost less than entry alone, and two visitors with drinks have come to around 238,000 VND total—making it one of the more accessible dedicated animal experiences in the city.
The Shiba Inus here are notably sociable, a contrast to many pet cafes where dogs tend to keep their distance from unfamiliar visitors. Staff hand guests complimentary treats to offer the dogs, which breaks the ice quickly and leads to the active, playful interactions the venue is known for. The cats occupy a separate area and include multiple breeds alongside interactive games and merchandise available for purchase.
With 1,866 Google reviews averaging 4.9 stars, this is among the highest-rated venues in Thao Dien across any category. The space is kept genuinely clean—reviewers consistently note the absence of the odors that can undermine pet cafe visits—and the animals are visibly well-groomed and comfortable around strangers. The dogs tend to settle by early evening, so afternoon visits on the longer-hours days (Monday, Saturday, and Sunday, when the cafe stays open until 8 PM) catch them at their most active.
Thao Dien has no shortage of places to sit with a coffee, but few offer a structured animal encounter this close to the neighborhood's expat core. The ticketed format keeps crowds manageable, the staff are clearly invested in both animal welfare and visitor experience, and the dual-section setup—dogs and cats under one roof—sets it apart from single-species alternatives elsewhere in District 2.

Dogs and cats are very sweet and friendly. Always excited to greet visitors. Bring them treats coz they work hard! Lol staff are also warm and hospitable. 💯recommended!
Cozy and lovely place. The shibas and cats are so cute! They’re well taken care of. Staffs are also accommodating. Loved it here so much!
Most shiba cafes I go tend, the shibas tend to not want to approach us but not this one! They were so cute and fun to play with - really recommend if you are a big shiba inu fan. The staff in particular (Huy) were very friendly and welcoming, they also handed us free treats to give to the dogs! For the price, it is a very worth it. Would visit again.
One of the best pet cafe locations if you want to spend time with kitties and doggos alike. We went to see the kitties during this visit, there are a lot of them to see at this location. Tickets here can include the visit with or without a drink/pastry (it's cheaper with a combo). The facilities are very clean and smelled pretty good. Overall, a solid place to go for some healing with animals in D2.
