Nice Thai resto in Thao Dien. Definitely try the crab curry. It is loaded with crab meat.

Had a great experience, the food, ambience and service are hard to fault. The only thing I did not enjoy was cashew chicken, but that could be just personal preference, as I like it more homemade style (where they do not deep fry it with a coating). Other than that, a wonderful experience and right pricing.

My family decided to go to this restaurant we had never been before. We really like Thai food so we gave it a try. I ordered the stir fried chicken with basil. The first picture on left was after I ate just a few bites of chicken. The portion at the bottom is just skin and gristle. Not much chicken AT ALL. The picture to the right is my finished plate. What is left is just skin and gristle. Not very good flavor, kind of cold. The dish did NOT even come with white rice. With the quality and portion, it should have come with rice. Also there was TOO MUCH basil with the amount of chicken that was provided. Service was ok. They were nice but not very confident in engaging us - maybe because we were foreigners. They said some items on menu we wanted were not available. They did accommodate our daughter who has allergy to nuts. So I appreciate that. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful but they put too much into look of restaurant and the ambiance that the quality of food was lacking. Probably will not go again.

We tried this restaurant because of all the good reviews but felt completely misled. The place lacks authenticity — the Thai dishes had very little to do with real Thai flavours. My green curry even had okra and a thick, poorly blended sauce that felt more like a stew, and the chicken with cashew nuts was coated and fried in a strangely sweet sauce, which is not how traditional Thai food is prepared. It seems the dishes may have been adapted to local Vietnamese tastes, so if you’re looking for real Thai food, it’s better to look elsewhere. On the positive side, the setting is very nice and the service was good. The papaya salad was the only dish that was genuinely decent. Prices are reasonable. Hopefully, they consult with a Thai chef soon and start offering real Thai food.
