I was really looking forward to a good Banh Mi, but this was very disappointing. The bread was soggy from so much sauce, completely losing the crispiness that makes a Banh Mi enjoyable. The flavors were bland, the meat was dry, and the pickled vegetables — usually the highlight — were lifeless. This is nowhere near a traditional Banh Mi. For the price, I expected authentic flavor and quality, but sadly, I won’t be coming back.
Was my to go banh mi place since I live close by. The staff has been alright but this time a bit non smart when taking my order. I ordered a banh mi Que but wanted to change wo have cheese instead which is the banh mi Que formage- Instead of changing my order to a different banh min Que formage - she added an extra topping instead. And I questioned why she didn’t take nr 3 instead of nr 1 plus topping- the guy next said you can not change after it’s made and dumb question me. But they didn’t get my point of that she didn’t get it and it made no sense. And they always dry or steam the green onions a certain time so your eyes get stingy. It’s alright take my money for the last time.
They used to be my fave Bahn Mi spot in Thao Dien but they have failed - I asked for more Mayo in my Pate and they didnt even ADD any, not once - but TWICE! then i ordered two bahn mi combos and didn't get those Milk cartons - but we weren't bothered with complaining - its most incredible how the price was about 30 - 33 for Bahn Mis and it felt like great and fair value and now the same bahn mi thit is 41! that is a 20% price increase and ive only lived here 11 months! will it be 50K by 2021?? Greedy.
The food here is good but the attitude of the workers are sooo bad. One of them even rolls her eyes on customers.
