cool architecture inspired by Hue palace. good service. the food was amazing. my favorite are: Aori Ika (squid), Iwashi (sardine), Smoked salmon. the set is really good value. However, we ordered the extra oyster and Inu and they were not impressive to worth the price. It costs 380,000vnd (exclude service fee & VAT) for just 1 piece of oyster, and 400,000vnd (exclude service fee & VAT) for 1 piece of Inu 🥲 Generally I'm happy about the omakase set & its experience.

This restaurant is amazing! The price is cheap! The food is delicious! All the staff's service is very good! Because I'm not a local, every dish will be introduced to me separately in English by the staff. Although my English is not very good, it can be seen from these details that the restaurant attaches importance to every guest. After the meal, it rained outside. The brother who made sushi for me was still holding an umbrella outside to send me to the car, but because I was going to ride a motorcycle, I didn't ask him to send it. Everything was wonderful from the beginning to the end! Thank you for giving me a wonderful night.

Back at Omakase Tiger in Thảo Điền after far too long… and it reminded us why we kept recommending it. If you’re wondering what to order, the 14-course sushi omakase is, in our opinion, the sweet spot. Premium ingredients, beautifully executed sushi, and an experience that feels much more exclusive than its price suggests. Every course was carefully prepared, from the seasonal appetizers to the perfectly balanced nigiri. The freshness of the seafood, the quality of the rice, and the attention to detail are exactly what keep us coming back. We also went with the sake pairing, and it was absolutely worth it. Some pours were light, fruity and refreshing, while others were richer, bolder and more complex. Each sake was thoughtfully selected to complement the progression of the meal, elevating every bite without ever overpowering the sushi. But what truly makes Tiger stand out is the people. The chefs are passionate, the entire team is attentive, and Alenka once again made the evening memorable with her warm hospitality. Had a really lovely experience at Tiger Sushi Omakase. The atmosphere was intimate and relaxing, and the whole meal felt very well paced and thoughtful. The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The chefs and staff were attentive and welcoming without being over the top, which made the experience feel comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. Definitely one of those meals where you leave feeling like the quality matched the price. Would happily come back again for a special dinner in HCMC.
