I will always order my cakes from this bakery! The chocolate salted caramel is easily the best cake I’ve ever had- very addicting! The cupcakes are also available daily where I can get a quick fix.

I had high hopes for this cake shop after receiving numerous recommendations, but my experience was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a small custom birthday cake for 1,250,000 VND, and while the design was visually appealing, the taste was a letdown. The cake was supposed to be coconut and lime, but instead, it was filled with large chunks of hard coconut and barely any lime flavor. The filling was dry and lacked the creaminess I expected. To make matters worse, the cake itself was wet and undercooked, leaving a strange soda-like taste that was quite sour. I've had my fair share of cake disappointments in Vietnam, but this was by far the worst. It genuinely ruined my birthday celebration. I literally put the cake in the bin. I reached out to the bakery for feedback, and while they did apologize, they offered no compensation for the experience. I can't recommend this bakery if you're looking for a delicious cake.

I think these gotta be the best cupcakes in the country. If you’ve lived in Saigon for a while, you know these are OG. My first love back when I was 14 years old showed me these back when they sold them at a cafe called Luisine on Dong Khoi. I’m 29 now. Ahhh, good times. I still had them now with my current partner. Still just a good. Ah, sweet sweet love

Received wonderful support from the Thao Dien team today. I purchased 24 cup cakes for my daughter's birthday celebration with her class. Each one was individually boxed and a hit with my daughter and the children! They loved them and ate them straight away! I really appreciated the staff having them packed and ready for me to collect at the agreed time. The service was thoroughly professional and the staff also helped me select 2 other cakes. They looked beautiful and tasted great. I highly recommend Sweet and Sour. Their service, range and presentation of cakes, cards and candles made it all so much easier today. 🫶

A divine and gorgeous cupcakes eatery!!! Holiday spirit in full swing! A multitude of flavors, designs and creations, Sweet & Sour will bake and produce anything you need or want for your birthday party’s cupcakes or cakes. Fully customizable, from color to design to flavor. My favorite flavors were the red velvet, s’mores, and Oreo cupcakes. They have stickers, cards, party masks, candles and even Vietnamese local treats like Moon Cakes for the festival. If you’re in D2 and need a sweet treat, look no further.
