Simple Place - Mexican restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

First time at the new place and what a great night. We have been getting grab orders for a while now and we found it even better to be at the restaurant. We had a mix of everything from Calzone, Beef nachos, Carbonara pizza, Burrata, Lamb stew taco soft, and Shrimp mango salsa taco soft. The calzone was huge and so so tasty. The Burrata was soft and fresh. Beer town stayed fresh and chilled and topped our night off.

To long for waiting, i'm wait up to 40m for a pasta and two tacos. The food here is quite large in portion and tastes quite good for the price. But it's really crowded so the staff here can't be controlled.

I thought it was the thickest Quesadilla i had ever had in my life. Very nice as well! I had 1 shrimp mango and 1 duck (both tacos). Both crispy and soft are as nice. Price was reasonable. Not a fancy fancy place but very comfortable being at. Suitable for casual meetups and having nice food. Just a little hard to explain things in English to the waitress, it’s a bit missing esp in Thao Dien.

Their food was so good. We ordered beef nachos and a shrimp quesadilla and they were absolutely amazing! Seasoned to perfection and veggies were fresh. One downside is that the air conditioned room was quite echoing, so even though there were only us and another table of 2, conversations sounded very loud. Also, the restroom’s door didn’t seem to have a stopper, so it would bang very loudly every time someone left restroom. Hopefully the restaurant can work on this.

The venue is nothing special. But it's not out on the street, so that was good. The service was good too with smiling and helpful staff. The food here was good for the price. And it's not adapted to Vietnamese palates; meaning it's not sweet. It's here to cater foreigners. The value is excellent and I ate too much!
