RuNam trên đường Trần Ngọc Diện tọa lạc trong một biệt thự đẹp ở Thảo Điền, nội thất sang trọng mà vẫn tinh tế, với khoảng sân ngoài trời thích hợp cho những buổi chiều nắng. Không gian đủ rộng cho cả nhóm đông, bàn trong lẫn ngoài thu hút giới expat sinh sống trong khu, khách quen cuối tuần và những người nghiện cà phê sẵn sàng trả 150.000 đồng một ly khi chất lượng luôn ổn định qua từng lần ghé.
Thực đơn cà phê thiên về sự sáng tạo: cà phê phin cam mật ong kết hợp vị citrus và mật ong trên nền cà phê mượt, đậm đà — khách quen nhận xét là chất lượng ổn định qua nhiều lần thử. Phần uống hơi nhỏ, gọi thêm một ly là chuyện thường, nhưng đó là chủ ý tập trung hương vị chứ không phải khuyết điểm.
Thực đơn ăn trải từ món nhẹ kiểu cà phê đến bữa chính đúng nghĩa. Điểm nhấn khác lạ nhất là bánh xèo taco — biến tấu mang đậm phong cách Việt được nhiều thực khách gọi lại. Mì Quảng nước sốt tự làm ăn kèm gà xé, mề, tim và trứng non giá 210.000 đồng — một tô chú trọng trình bày và nhận lời khen thật sự chứ không chỉ cộng điểm vì lạ miệng. Steak là món bình dị nhưng trụ cột cho khách ăn trưa, còn tráng miệng đậu hũ lên men kết thúc một thực đơn rõ ràng đang muốn đi xa hơn là chỉ chơi an toàn.
Phục vụ chuyên nghiệp và chu đáo trong hầu hết các lần ghé, ban quản lý mới mang đến thái độ đón khách bài bản hơn. Điều thỉnh thoảng gây phiền là tiếng ồn từ nhân viên trong lúc phục vụ — hơi trái với vẻ tinh tế của không gian xung quanh. Nhà hàng chấp nhận thẻ tín dụng và Apple Pay — chi tiết thực tế đáng chú ý ở một khu không phải nơi nào cũng có. Giờ mở cửa từ 7 giờ sáng đến 10 giờ tối hàng ngày, khiến đây trở thành một trong những lựa chọn all-day đáng tin cậy hơn trong khu vực.

All the RuNam's are fabulous but I especially love this one. It's our first time at this location and it's just as nice as any of the others. It's late at night so it was emptier with maybe two to three other tables that sat outside. The sweets here were all delicious. Not too sweet or overly creamy, just right for me. They gave us the bigger cake slice for free, which is so kind! I believe it's the corn cake. I wish there was actually a bit more corn flavor but it was good otherwise. Since there wasn't anyone here, it was very calming to take our time to talk and relax! I highly recommend venturing out to the 2nd District area around here. There's a ton of aesthetically pleasing and sometimes equally delicious food places. It's typically foreigners living around here so the taste is usually catered towards them and there's usually a focus on visuals.
Runam Tran Ngo Dien is a relaxed place with decent food. It is a good place for casual meal and catchup place. They are located in Q2. The food and drinks here overall above average, but can be a bit pricy comparing to others. Especially the drinks though well presented , over priced I think..
Very nice and cosy terrace ideal for january / feb outside diner and drinks. Yummy Vietnamese fusion bistronomy. I know this brand since day one and even before and they have been delivering steadily. Always a good moment there.
Runam has always been my go-to weekend destination (I usually visit the branch on Công Xã Paris Street). A few days ago, I stopped by the Thảo Điền branch. The food and drinks were still delicious, and I especially enjoy the steak there. However, as this is a restaurant aimed at a high-end customer segment, the staff at this branch were talking and laughing loudly, which affected my dining experience. I hope this can be improved
