Kashew Cheese Deli nằm trong một khuôn viên sân trong thoáng mát trên đường Trần Ngọc Diện, một con phố dân sinh ở Thảo Điền nơi tiếng ồn đặc trưng của Sài Gòn gần như biến mất. Điểm khác biệt ở đây nằm ở cách vận hành: hầu như mọi thứ được phục vụ — phô mai hạt điều, pesto, bánh mì, kombucha, bia nhà — đều được sản xuất tại chỗ, không thuê ngoài bất kỳ thành phần nào tạo nên hương vị đặc trưng của quán.
Điểm đánh giá 4,7 sao không đến từ sự đa dạng mà từ sự tinh tế trong từng món. Pasta cà tím sốt cà chua và phô mai là món dễ khiến thực khách quay lại nhất — thậm chí vào đúng ngày cuối cùng của chuyến đi. Pesto panini được làm từ bánh mì nguyên cám nướng tại quán, kẹp cùng cashew mozzarella và pesto tự ép. Sandwich phô mai và chutney — với hành tây caramel hóa, cà chua sấy và phô mai nhà — xứng đáng được thưởng thức thật kỹ. Đĩa phô mai thay đổi theo từng đợt, panini ba màu và pizza thường hết trước buổi chiều là những lựa chọn mặn đáng chú ý khác. Món tráng miệng salted caramel hạt điều thường xuyên làm bất ngờ những ai vốn không chuộng đồ ngọt.
Khu sân ngoài trời thu hút đủ loại thực khách: những người nước ngoài sống lâu dài ở Sài Gòn, du khách ăn thuần thực vật vừa trải qua một tuần ăn uống dè chừng khắp Việt Nam rồi tìm đến đây như một nơi trú chân đáng tin, cùng những người ăn tạp rồi cuối cùng gọi nhiều hơn dự định. Không gian sân trong giữ được sự yên tĩnh ngay cả khi đông khách — cây xanh bao quanh, không có xe cộ qua lại, và khoảng cách giữa các bàn đủ rộng để một bữa trưa kéo dài hai tiếng vẫn cảm thấy thư thả, không vội vàng.
Điều tạo nên sự khác biệt của Kashew Cheese Deli so với phần còn lại của cộng đồng quán cà phê Thảo Điền là chiều sâu trong quy trình sản xuất. Nhà bếp ở đây tự lên men, tự ép và tự nướng những nguyên liệu nền thay vì chỉ lắp ráp từ nguồn cung bên ngoài. Mức độ kiểm soát đó thể hiện qua sự nhất quán về hương vị và những chi tiết — độ xốp của bánh mì, vị chua của kombucha — khó tìm thấy ở bất kỳ nơi nào khác trong khu vực. The vegan cashew cheese here is exceptional. While some places just use a simple paste of soaked cashews, this one undergoes a proper process to achieve a sophisticated flavor. They offer a variety of flavors that are great on their own, but the sandwiches made with this cheese are truly delicious. Since they are quite filling, I usually choose a light drink, but you absolutely must try the cashew yogurt and mango smoothie—it's incredibly smooth and delicately flavorful!
Wow! An incredible culinary experience for me, a dedicated meat eater. I had the Pesto and mozzarella sandwhich on sourdough with sun dried tomatoes, and the mozzarella salad. The best vegan cheese I've ever had, albeit maybe 7-8 times total. I love caprese and this salad was comparable to a dairy caprese salad. Also the sour dough was crunchy enough to give the sandwhich the little bit of kick it needed to not be soggy, and the bread soaked up the pesto beautifully. I will be back to try the sourdough pizza next time. Great job!
I was very impressed with Kashew’s food innovation & twist in make all cheese from cashew and slow fermentation process (ricotta, mozzarella, and other varieties of cheese). They provided a sample of some of them and I was very impressed by their taste and selection of ingredients. Their dishes consist mostly of pizza, sandwich, pasta and salad using house made bakes as well. I was even more impressed by the service and the attention to details from the staff. They even brought a small basket for my bag without me asking. Nice small touches! Special thanks to Phuong
Great vegan place! I did find myself adding more salt to the dishes but overall they were nice. I had a really hard time deciding what to order since everything was tempting and looked good. I had a panini called La Vita Bella - great, aubergine and ricotta pasta - cute, and salted caramel rawberry cake which was simply okay. The spoon was cool looking so I give it extra credit. Not the cheapest but worth a visit.
We were looking for a place with good pizza & ended up being here. Unfortunately the pizza was sold out, we had spaghetti & sandwiches instead, but they were so good we didnt care about pizza anymore. We hadn't realized it was vegan food since everything tasted just great. The cashew cheese was awesome, I fell in love immediately🥰
