Annie Cookie Store nằm trong một căn nhà phố hẹp trên đường Xuân Thủy, bán những chiếc NYC-style cookie ăn nóng với giá khoảng 60.000 VND mỗi chiếc — tròn dày, nặng tay, vỏ ngoài giòn và nhân bên trong còn chảy. Mỗi lần mua đều được tặng kèm một ly nước, và khu vực sân nhỏ phía ngoài, dùng chung với dãy nhà hàng xung quanh, rất thuận tiện để ngồi nán lại.
Thực đơn có khoảng hơn chục loại. Salted Caramel là vị chủ lực: nhân ngọt-mặn quyện vào nền bánh mềm ẩm mà khách quen nhớ tên và quay lại đặt nhiều lần. Biscoff Filled NYC xếp lớp Biscoff spread bên dưới chocolate và vụn Biscoff — béo ngậy và ngọt sâu, đúng phong cách đặc trưng của tiệm. S'more Cookie kết hợp dark chocolate, marshmallow và cracker thành bộ ba gợi cảm giác đốt lửa trại, ăn vào thực tế lại chắc tay hơn nghe tên. Với những ai muốn cắt bớt độ béo, Lemon Cookie có vị thanh mát, không ngấy, còn Matcha Latte Cookie cân bằng trà xanh với white chocolate và macadamia.
Brookie — nửa cookie giòn, nửa brownie fudgy — nằm ngoài bản đồ hương vị chính của tiệm nhưng tự mình kéo được một nhóm khách riêng. Một chi nhánh cách đó vài phút có thực đơn đa dạng hơn; chủ tiệm đôi khi chủ động gợi ý khách vãng lai ghé qua đó.
Tầng trên có các lớp học nghệ thuật — buổi làm móc khóa thu hút khách vốn chỉ ghé mua cookie nhưng cuối cùng ở lại khá lâu. Lượng khách chủ yếu là người nước ngoài và khách cuối tuần từ các quận khác, nhiều người đến với một hương vị cụ thể đã có sẵn trong đầu. Độ ngọt ở đây cao hơn so với mặt bằng chung của tiệm bánh Việt Nam — điều mà nhiều người đánh giá nhắc đến như một lưu ý thực tế hơn là chê bai: những ai quen với bánh kiểu Mỹ sẽ thấy hoàn toàn quen vị. Điểm 4,8 sao trên 168 đánh giá Google cho thấy công thức này đang được đón nhận tốt.
Really really recommend coming here, the cookies are the best I have ever had! The owner (I assume) is so kind and let us know of the other shop they have just 5 minutes away which has even more wonderful choices! I believe it is called “Annie’s Cookies and more”.
Love the area and the cookies :) there are fabulous flavors like biscoff and pistachio. Crumbly on the outside, gooey melted inside. Served warm. Super sweet. Pretty seating area next to other restaurants, great addition to brunch.
Lovely place for people that love pink! i love the cookie texture, it’d be even better if they can be less sweet. The soda is really good
As a cookie lover, I have tried quite a few bakeries but Annie is my best choice now for cookies. I believe that she puts her love into every cookies that why I always feel so happy after eating them 🥰❤️ I have tried: salted caramel, strawberry shortcake, brownie & biscoff 😋 And my most favourite (as I like all the flavours) is biscoff so far. But I am sure that I will find more most favourites when I try others 🤭🤭
I ordered for delivery, the S’more cookie was very good although a tad too sweet for me. The texture was heavenly, crunchy outside and soft inside. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Totally. Edit: I went to the store on another occasion and got salted caramel cookie. The cookies is moist, but very very sweet, so be prepared. If you are used to American cookies, it should be fine for you though.
