Great for picture-taking. Atmosphere's cool and modern. Prices are fine but drinks are not super.

Dalaland Coffee - Coffee shop in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

About This Place
Dalaland Coffee draws its identity from Đà Lạt, the highland city Saigonese associate with cooler air, flower markets, and a slower rhythm. That framing positions it differently from the busier concept cafes clustered along Xuân Thủy and Nguyễn Văn Hưởng — the address, a sub-alley off Trần Ngọc Diện, places it deeper into the residential fabric of Thao Dien rather than on a commercial corridor.
More than a thousand Google reviews at a 4.3-star average carries real weight in a neighborhood this saturated with options. Thao Dien draws an international crowd with high expectations and short loyalty windows, so sustained ratings at that volume point to drinks and service that perform consistently across the week, not just on good days. Novelty alone does not produce four-figure review counts.
The operating window is worth noting: 7:30 in the morning through 10:30 at night, every day. That covers the pre-work laptop session, the lunch-hour escape, and the after-dinner coffee that many Thao Dien spots do not accommodate. Few neighborhood cafes hold hours this uniform across all seven days.
The alley location functions as a natural filter. There is no passing foot traffic; guests who arrive have looked up the address and made a decision. That dynamic tends to produce a calmer, more regular clientele than street-facing venues, with lower ambient noise and fewer transient visitors. For focused work or extended conversation, the distinction is practical. The review volume suggests the slightly indirect route has not deterred the crowd — for most visitors, it appears to be part of what makes the experience feel less exposed than a storefront on the main drag.
Reviews
Stylish interior and exterior design, very chilled place, drinks is just ok, still a good place to have a leisure time.
Came on Sunday night. Had to pay extra 50k because of live band on weekend nights 8-10pm. A lot of people came to take Instagram photos. Plenty of parking available. Little bit secluded. The music and singing is too loud in enclosed area. Singing is good but unfortunately only Vietnamese song which I can't appreciate.
Dalaland Coffee offers a stunning and aesthetically pleasing space, making it a great spot for photos and a relaxing ambiance. The design and atmosphere are truly impressive, creating a cozy yet stylish environment. However, the food quality needs improvement. I ordered the fish balls, and unfortunately, they were not up to par. The drinks were just average, not bad, but nothing special either. Given how beautiful the place is, I expected the food and beverages to match the experience. If they work on improving their menu, this could easily become a top-tier café.
Incredibly pleasant experience here. The koi fish pond was super enjoyable, great for taking photos. Lots of backdrops to take aesthetic photos. Drinks were tasty, the coconut coffee I got was exceptional!! Highly recommend visiting.
