My family ordered a basic pizza from Capone’s Pizza as a special treat. When the box arrived, it was lukewarm and the pizza was completely inedible — by far the worst we’ve EVER had. The quality was off in every way, and several of us felt sick afterward. We messaged them immediately to report the problem. Rather than acknowledging the issue or offering any resolution (such as a refund or remake), they made excuses and basically told us that’s how their pizza is supposed to be. They even mentioned they ‘can’t keep apologizing,’ even though they hadn’t apologized at all. For an expensive order that was meant to be a nice family moment, the complete lack of accountability was especially disappointing. If they had owned the mistake, refunded our money, and shown they valued the customer, we likely would have given them another chance. Instead, their response made it clear this wasn’t something we could overlook. We’ve now lost all trust and will not be ordering from Capone’s Pizza again. I’m sharing this experience so others can avoid the same frustrating and wasteful situation. If you’re considering ordering from them, proceed with caution.
