The Deck Saigon - Restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

I brought my mom over lunch here to celebrate her 72nd birthday. We tried their 3-course lunch menu and the food was actually really good especially the starters. The staff were attentive and professional. They also prepared something for my mom's birthday which was nice. Would like to visit next time for dinner.

I visited Ho Chi Minh City and celebrate a friend's birthday, and we decided to dine at this beautiful fine dining restaurant by the riverside. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere was elegant, the view was stunning, and the service was truly outstanding. The staff were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. They took the time to introduce the menu and recommended several signature dishes based on our preferences. The pork ribs were absolutely the best I have ever had. They were incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with a wonderful balance of lean meat and fat that melted in my mouth. When the restaurant found out that we were celebrating a birthday, they kindly surprised us with a complimentary slice of cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the celebration even more special. We truly appreciated their hospitality and attention to detail. Thank you for giving us such a memorable dining experience. I will definitely come back to this restaurant the next time I visit Ho Chi Minh City, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food, amazing service, and a wonderful riverside atmosphere.

The Deck Saigon is one of the most beautiful riverside restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City. With its peaceful location along the Saigon River, it offers a relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for a romantic dinner, a special celebration, or simply enjoying a meal with friends. The restaurant serves a mix of Vietnamese and international dishes, all beautifully presented with fresh ingredients. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were well made. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food, excellent service, and stunning riverside views make the experience worthwhile. If possible, visit around sunset to enjoy the changing colours of the sky and the city lights reflecting on the river. The ambience becomes even more magical in the evening. Overall, The Deck Saigon offers a memorable dining experience. It’s definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and one of the best waterfront views in Ho Chi Minh City.

Went here with my friends and loved it! Very modern and upscale setting right on the river. Our waitress Milan (Heart), was most accommodating, spoke perfect English and made our experience outstanding. Definitely coming back here! ❤️

We came for the new years event at 8:30 for the second seating. Food was amazing but service was so rushed. Literally as soon as we finished one course the next one was brought out. We. Asked if we could have time between the second and were told no because the kitchen was in sequence as order put it. Very disappointed giving the amount we paid plus ordering bottle of wine and cocktails. Then before we had even finished our drinks they asked us to leave the table and go into the main bar area. The meal itself was delicious and food nicely presented. The cod was cooked perfectly. There was a mix up with the dessert and was brought the wrong dessert which was corrected. Food was definitely 5/5. Our table was in the restaurant with a decent view however the screaming child who was running around with his nanny killed a bit of the atmosphere. The dj was great as were the sparklers and fireworks for new new years. Good night but worth the price tag, not so sure.
