Wok Of Love Quận 2 (Dine-in) - Restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

Went here last night for Dinner. They have indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was phenomenal. Soooo tasty. Bold flavors and big portions. We got the smashed cucumber salad, the beef belly with black bean and black pepper, the fried pork, and the fried squid, oh...and the steamed dumplings. Their use of chopped scallions and chili peppers and delicious sauces really complimented all of the delicious food. There was so much food we had enough for tonight's dinner too. Making it a good bargain. We will definitely be returning.

The champong & black beans noodles are tasty! The portion might be “a lil bit much” for single person. The deep-fried pork is crispy, they dont pour over the sour sauce, you can dip. Staffs are helpful. I love the seating area look out to the street. Somehow Korean-like style.

The restaurant's staff is super cute, helpful and supportive. Every dish was made with love by the chef and team, you can feel it when you enjoy your meal at the restaurant. You should try jajangmyeon and bingsu☺️☺️☺️

Located in a Thảo Điền alleyway, Wok of Love is a Korean-style Chinese restaurant themed after the K-drama of the same name, Gireumjin Mello (기름진 멜로). It has a distinctive cyberpunk-inspired exterior with purple and red neon lights, and the interior uniquely blends this aesthetic with retro decor. The extensive menu offers Korean-Chinese staples like Jjajangmyeon (짜장면) and Jjamppong (짬뽕), creative dishes, hot pots, and desserts like Bingsu. ​Portions are generous and ideal for sharing. Dishes like the Gochujapchae (고추잡채; pork and vegetable stir-fry with steamed buns) offer a classic savory-sweet flavor. For those seeking spice, the Crispy Shrimp features a potent mala sauce, and the Mala Xiang Guo (마라샹궈) dry pot is also very spicy, even at the "mild" level. The portion for the Mala Xiang Guo is particularly large, easily serving a small group. Given the serving sizes, this restaurant is best experienced with around 5-6 people to fully explore the menu.

The pot is the best and super delicious. The food is very delicious. I think the Taiwanese beef noodle no need to put the fried garlic and sesame oil to keep the soup taste could be more close to the Taiwan flavor. Good day! Recommend: pot Score:4.8 star✨️
