Pasta Fresca는 hẻm을 통해 Thảo Điền 거리 안쪽으로 들어서는 작은 레스토랑 군집, Oishi Town의 지붕 있는 야외 공간에 자리하고 있다. 주방은 직접 구성하는 pasta 방식으로 운영된다: 손님이 spaghetti, rigatoni, pici, gnocchi 등의 면 형태를 선택한 뒤, 클래식 ragu부터 고르곤졸라, 크리미한 carbonara까지 다양한 소스와 조합하는 방식이다. 토스카나 전통 방식으로 손으로 빚은 굵은 pasta인 pici는 특히 진한 치즈 소스와의 조합으로 대표 메뉴로 자리 잡았으며, 오랜 단골들은 식당이 Phu Nhuan의 Phan Xich Long에 있던 시절부터 풍미가 한결같이 유지되고 있다고 말한다.
antipasto 섹션은 Thao Dien의 여타 이탈리안 레스토랑과 이곳을 뚜렷하게 구분 짓는 요소다. 차가운 육가공 보드에는 mortadella, salami, coppa, Parma ham, 매콤한 'nduja 소시지가 가득 담겨 나오고, 치즈 플래터에는 mozzarella, taleggio, Parmesan, 고르곤졸라와 함께 카라멜라이즈드 양파와 focaccia가 곁들여진다. 'nduja와 mozzarella를 채운 arancini가 스타터의 마무리를 장식한다. 이 재료들은 대체품이 아닌 정통 식재료를 직접 공수한 것으로, 품질과 가격 모두를 뒷받침한다. 함께 나눠 먹는 식사 기준 1인당 약 400,000 VND로, 인근 길거리 음식보다 높은 가격이지만 식재료의 품질을 감안하면 납득 가능한 수준이다.
pizza는 다른 메뉴보다 조리 시간이 다소 길다는 점이 여러 리뷰어에게 지적되지만, 반죽은 지역 내 흔한 두꺼운 배달식 크러스트가 아닌 나폴리 전통 방식의 가볍고 공기가 살아있는 식감을 자랑한다. 야외 좌석은 지붕이 덮여 있어 한낮의 더위를 어느 정도 막아주지만, 인테리어는 단순하다: 디자인적 야심도, 꾸밈새도 없다. 방문객은 분위기보다 pasta와 charcuterie를 목적으로 골목을 일부러 찾아오는 외국인 거주자와 Thao Dien 주민들이 대다수다.
I’ve been here many times and the food is always excellent—fresh, flavorful, and consistent. However, service could really use improvement. Staff are often inattentive, which affects the overall experience. Still worth visiting for the food, but hoping to see better service soon.
Tucked away in the heart of District 2, this Italian restaurant is a true culinary gem. The pizza might take a little time to arrive, but trust me—it’s worth every second of the wait. The dough is spot-on: light, airy, and full of flavor, with that unmistakable taste that transports you straight to Italy. The pasta dishes are equally impressive, crafted with care and bursting with authentic Italian flair. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every plate they serve. If there’s one small bémol, it’s the side offerings—breadsticks and pizza dough served alongside are a bit too dry and plain, with the sticks leaning toward overly hard. But honestly, that’s a minor note in an otherwise fantastic dining experience. The ambiance adds to the charm: cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed evening out. Whether you're a pizza purist or just craving a taste of Italy, this spot delivers.
Food was good but both of us got food poisoning the next day. Not sure if it was from the steak or the salad or the pizza, but it was surely from the dinner we had at Pasta Fresca. Atmosphere is nice, but you will get a bit disappointed if you need to go to the restroom. It’s also quite close to the kitchen 🤔🤔. Price was affordable (about 400k/person with shared steak, pizza, salad, chips and drinks). The big minus is really about hygiene.
Everything is perfect except the pasta, gnocchi is overcooked and the sauce was not impressive, I like the cheese truffle pizza and salad should be more rocket to balance the taste.
Fantastic for fresh pasta. Service was so wonderful. We enjoyed and felt the care form the staff.
