Peppe's Forno - Bakery in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

My favorite place on earth! I have been here for 2 years and still not eaten enough of Peppe’s pastries. I love Pepper’s tiramisu and Cannocini. The tiramisu is creamy and the mascarpone used in the tiramisu tastes amazing! The cannocini is butter, flaky and the chocolate filling is decadent! Last but the least, the owner and staffs are very friendly. I had a lovely time anytime I visit and they are always welcoming and open to explain to me the taste and ingredients of each pastries. Plus, I can’t count the times I was given freebies 😘 100/100, would recommend for anyone to try out at least once!

Everything was so good!! The pear nut brownie was amazing, with the perfect balance of nuttiness and chewiness. The team was incredibly warm and welcoming, and we truly felt at home in this cosy little café. Such a lovely spot—I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back ❤️❤️

I had such a lovely experience at this shop. The owner is incredibly warm and sweet, making everyone feel genuinely welcome. The staff are friendly and always ready to answer any questions with patience and enthusiasm. The cakes are truly a “wow” from the very first bite - perfectly balanced, sweet but not overly sweet, with flavors that blend beautifully. The cozy and inviting atmosphere makes it a great place to relax and enjoy your time. I’ll definitely be coming back to try everything on the menu.

The girl lied about weighing the panforte. I asked her, and she confirmed she had weighed it. The total was 97g including the box, which itself weighs about 14g. I was charged 125k for 100g. I can tolerate a lot of things, but not a lie directly to my face like that. The place was recommended by the chef at a dessert bar nearby. Otherwise, I would not have known it was there and looked for it on purpose. But too bad the visit will also be the last.

I have been here 3 times and it was always a lovely experience! The dessert was decent (I would recommend the pistachio tiramisu and sugar-free cantucci!) and the staff was very cute and friendly. I once stopped by for the focaccia but failed to get one because of the power outage, the staff even gave me a small cantucci while i was waiting inside as it was raining! Would love to visit again!
