Mitsu Hidden Izakaya는 카운터와 낮은 테이블을 모두 합쳐 다섯 명 남짓이 들어가면 그게 공간의 전부다. 오픈 키친에서는 바로 옆자리와 불과 1미터 거리에서 꼬치가 그릴에 올라가고, 연기가 공간을 가르는 사이 간이 잘 밴 닭고기와 돼지고기 yakitori가 차례로 나온다. Sushi 쪽에서는 nigiri와 maki가 충분히 제 몫을 해낸다. 밥은 적절한 온도를 유지하고, 생선은 묵직하지 않고 깔끔하며 섬세하다.
음료는 일본 스타일이 주를 이룬다. Sapporo nama가 생맥주로 나오고, 직접 담근 우메슈는 술술 넘어가서 페이스 조절을 신경 써야 할 정도다. 바는 1층에 자리하고 식사 공간은 그 위층에 있어, 일반적인 레스토랑이라기보다 저녁 한때를 위해 문을 연 개인 주방 같은 분위기가 난다.
영업 시간은 화요일부터 일요일까지 오후 6시에서 새벽 2시로, 이른 저녁 피크가 지난 뒤 갈 곳을 찾거나 긴 밤의 시작을 원하는 이들에게 맞는 목적지다. Thao Dien에는 넓은 메뉴를 갖춘 범아시아 식당과 칵테일 바가 넘쳐나지만, 이곳의 초점은 훨씬 좁다. Yakitori, 일본식 pub 음식, 짧은 음료 리스트 — 덕분에 주방은 더 적은 것을 더 높은 수준으로 해낼 수 있다.
메뉴는 의도적으로 간결함을 유지한다. Unagi는 구이 콤보와 함께 리뷰에서 꾸준히 언급되는 하이라이트다. 에다마메는 간 조절로 호평을 받는다. 배달 플랫폼에는 등록되어 있지 않아 직접 방문해야만 먹을 수 있다. 공간 크기를 감안하면, 주말에는 일찍 도착하는 편이 좋다.
This place is simply cute and cozy. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. The space is charming and nicely arranged — perfect for a relaxed meal. The unagi and grilled skewers taste amazing: fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. Overall, a lovely little spot that feels just right. I’d love to come back
Great concept however lacking in hygiene standards and you can find better food elsewhere. We visited during dinner time. Food was average, though we enjoyed the seasoning on skewer items. Meat didn’t taste too fresh, and tamago was only okay. Unagi don was the best dish we ordered. Worst part was when barely one dish in I spotted a huge cockroach 🪳crawling around the kitchen and seating area. It started moving through the dried grass above us and completely startled us we had to leave. Staff didn’t seem to notice the cockroach. During our meal something was also burning and it seemed like it was rinsed in the sink straightaway which made the place smell awful for a good 15 minutes. Since the restaurant is tiny and little ventilation, one wouldn’t be able to escape it. We were also given the wrong bill (30% higher) and thank goodness we were still downstairs that the staff could return us the difference in cash. Overall it was interesting and “hidden” but I wouldn’t come back.
Great food, but please...the tax charged is ridiculous. Don't do this! 3 separate taxes is simply deceptive pricing. Please just add it into the cost of the food.
My new favorite spot for Izakaya in Thao Dien area. Small and cozy, solid!!
Great spot! Loved the Edamame! Full of flavor! The chicken and pork skewers were Amazing! The Bar down below is the Best!!!!
