Danbo Ramen Thao Dien - Ramen restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

Visit there with my colleague as no choice for dinner on that dat but so hungry 🥲 This restaurant is very small and cozy. There is 2-3 table and bar. On that day, no table available then we sit at bar so I deduct 1 start as it’s very small and just my bias so if you’re not concerns about this point then you can ignore. They mainly serve with ramen and options is quite limit - around 5-8 ramen menu but I think it’s good to them to manage the quality and cost of operations. I order a spicy ramen by adding egg and gyoza. Ramen soup is salty for me but in the level that I still can eat and gyoza is very small but may be it’s relate with the price. Anyway, if they made a bigger gyoza and come with 2 pieces, it may support a felling when eat it … so I deduct the food score from this 2 points. I’m not sure if staff can speak English as my friend communicate with them to order then I don’t have a compliment for staff.

I got the ramen and the fried chicken. They tasted good, and the chicken texture is on point. Good services. Decent place overall. Good price too.

Good place, nice food, great service. Choose less salty will be suitable for Vietnamese taste. Reserve table or come early if you dont wanna be in long line

Great ramen place with so many different options. We wanted to try everything lol! 🙂‍↕️ With each ramen we can customise different things like the noodle tenderness and spice level, so it’s super specific to each person’s taste. There’s champong if you’re not in the mood for ramen, and it’s also very good! 👍 You should also explore all the additions on the table, like the bean sprouts which had sesame oil and goes great with the ramen. 🍜 The sides are amazing, we got pan-seared dumplings which were both crispy and chewy, so good. ❤️‍🔥🥟🥟🥟❤️‍🔥 The staff is super nice and we got great service. There’s tables for bigger groups upstairs or if you’re alone there’s counter seats at the ground floor. Parking is slightly limited but the security staff is very nice and will help you with the bike. Overall, super great option for a ramen craving 🔥

One of my favorite ramen restaurants in Saigon. They upgraded to a bigger place, which is great because there was always a line. I love their tonkotsu ramen. So creamy and flavorful. Cha su pork is always tasty. Perfect every time. The gyoza and fried rice are both very good too. Locals, expats, Japanese, everyone comes here to enjoy. Just a great spot, needs to be on your list if you like ramen.
