First-time eater, known via Tiktok. Well, the staff Really nice, have provided detailed to boost on my selection when ordering I’ve watched TikTok a lot. The owner is have sense of humor. I hope I can meet her.

📍MUST visit HANOI-styled sticky rice! Xôi Xéo is a common Northern breakfast featured sticky rice, shredded bean paste, and meat toppings. At Mềm, they delivered a fulfilling culinary experience with their new branch in D2. Food were all visually & taste pleasant; Sticky rice is soft and aromatic, which blends well with all the fatty cut of stew pork belly. Venue is ideal for a calm Sunday breakfast. Be mindful the spot is packed within morning time so might take a bit of waiting. ⭐️ suggestion: picked daikon & cucumber should be a bit more sour & acidic. I find it quite bland compared to the rest.

A peaceful complex of restaurants and cafés in the heart of Thảo Điền, Thủ Đức City, HCMC This complex offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere right in the middle of Thảo Điền. Although the parking area doesn’t have a roof (a small minus point), the security inside is excellent. The restaurants and cafés are located close to each other, making it very convenient to explore different spots. The space is decorated in a countryside style, with green bamboo and a refreshing, rustic vibe. Today, we tried Tiệm Xôi Mềm — the menu was diverse and appealing, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the entire seating area is open-air with fans instead of air conditioning. The setup feels like dining in a cozy home courtyard under a covered patio. As for the food, I’d rate the quality of the sticky rice at 7/10. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone who wants to escape Saigon’s busy atmosphere — perfect for a small group gathering or a casual date. It truly feels like a “mini getaway” within the city. All in all, it’s a pleasant experience, and I’ll definitely come back to try out other eateries in the complex.

Such a cool place! It’s a bit out of the way but totally worth the walk. The food is great and the garden is cool and refreshing. Be sure to check it out when you’re in Thao Dien!
