Voelker Patisserie tọa lạc trên đường Thảo Điền, thu hút một lượng khách quen đa dạng — người nước ngoài, người địa phương, và thỉnh thoảng có cả giáo viên tiếng Pháp dẫn học sinh vào ngắm những tấm áp phích Pháp cổ treo trên tường. Trọng tâm ở đây hoàn toàn là bánh ngọt: almond croissant với kết cấu vỏ giòn thỏa mãn, brownie đậm vị socola thật sự không dùng hương liệu nhân tạo, bánh hạt dẻ kết hợp socola, và một danh sách bánh mặn cùng cookie thay đổi theo từng thời điểm. Baguette và bánh mì đủ ổn định để khách quen ghé mua như một thói quen bình thường.
Cà phê ở đây có và uống được, nhưng đây không phải điểm đến của cà phê đặc sản — điểm hút khách chính là tủ bánh và những chỗ ngồi mà không ai thúc bạn phải đứng dậy. Hai nhân viên làm việc tại quầy được nhiều khách nhắc đến vì sự thân thiện và chu đáo đáng kể.
Bánh được nhập từ nơi sản xuất bên ngoài thay vì tự làm tại chỗ, điều này lý giải tại sao bước vào không có mùi lò nướng mà nhiều người thường mong đợi — dù vậy chất lượng vẫn giữ vững, xứng đáng với sự đánh đổi đó.
Số lượng chỗ ngồi khá rộng rãi so với diện tích, biến nơi đây thành điểm dừng chân thực tế buổi sáng cho ai cần làm việc remote hoặc chờ qua những cơn mưa chiều đặc trưng của Sài Gòn.
Mở cửa mỗi ngày từ 6 giờ sáng, Voelker Patisserie lấp đầy một khoảng trống cụ thể ở Thao Dien — một tiệm bánh thiên hướng Pháp, điềm tĩnh, đặt chất lượng sản phẩm lên trên màn trình diễn không khí, vận hành theo nhịp độ khu phố mà những chuỗi cà phê lớn hơn trong vùng không hề cố bắt chước.

It’s a nice bakery not a cafe but if you wanna sit for hours with only a drink and work is welcome they prefer that instead of value customer who spend 300k- 500k 3 times per week ! As a regular customer for over a year just recently discovered products not sold for 3 days they are still selling. Disappointed ! P.S. Also be aware of owner will say something in noble French thinking u don’t understand! Where is the hospitality ? Forgot we are in Vietnam still developing!
Such good products, what a delights. Many different cookies and salty pies, which were amazingly good. The nut chokolate croissant was also extremely delicious. The staff is super friendly and helps you out. The place itself is cozy, works also for remote working

The best bakery in Thao Dien! Impressive selection of bread, pastries and a great coffee served in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. French teachers come here to show their students original vintage posters.
Cozy bakery :) I have been there a few times & I will come back. It is a good place 🫶I tried some pastries - almond croissant, brownie and chestnut pastry with chocolate: all 5/5. No artificial taste and good ingredients. Brownie is really chocolate. I bought bread and baguettes- always good 4/5. It is not a coffee place. I dont understand why people give one star, cos coffee was not amazing. It is Patiesier. Coffee is ok. But if you want a strong flavoured coffe etc go Highlands. Atmosphere is nice & staff really friendly :)
