Satay có cả hai phiên bản gà và heo, ướp gia vị và ăn kèm sốt đậu phộng; còn Gai Yang — gà nướng kiểu Thái với tương ớt ngọt, sốt chua cay và xôi — là món đủ sức giữ chân thực khách suốt bữa. Gà chiên lá dứa là điểm nhấn ít gặp hơn trên các thực đơn ở Thao Dien, mùi thơm đặc trưng của lá dứa thấm vào lớp vỏ giòn tạo nên hương vị thảo mộc nhẹ nhàng, tinh tế.
Mục cà ri ở đây đáng chú ý: xanh, đỏ, panang và massaman — đủ cả gà, heo lẫn bò. Sự đa dạng đó có nghĩa là bốn người ngồi cùng bàn có thể gọi bốn món khác nhau mà bữa ăn vẫn nhất quán. Massaman với cách nấu chậm lửa, đậm mùi hạt và gia vị, đặt cạnh panang vị cay nồng sáng hơn — cả hai đều đáng thử một lần, nhất là với ai quen chỉ gọi đúng một loại cà ri mỗi lần.

Mở cửa từ 11 giờ sáng đến 10 giờ tối hàng ngày, quán phù hợp cả bữa trưa lẫn bữa tối mà không cần đặt bàn trước. Với người nước ngoài và cư dân đang tìm một chỗ nấu Thái ổn định — nướng có, cà ri có, giá phù hợp để ghé thường xuyên — Thai Street lấp đúng khoảng trống mà những nơi hướng đến khách du lịch ở Thao Dien còn bỏ ngỏ.

Thai Street is one of my favorite spots in Thảo Điền for authentic Thai food. The dishes are full of flavor with the perfect balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and savory. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the menu offers plenty of variety. The atmosphere is casual and lively, while the staff are friendly and attentive. Whether you're craving pad thai, green curry, or tom yum, you really can't go wrong. I'll definitely be back!
Very interesting place where you can feel Bangkok. Friendly and cozy space. Ms. Anh is very helpful and supportive staff. Must try: combo of Som Tam (green papaya salad), Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup with rice, Thai red milk tea.
The restaurant has a fun street food look and a great atmosphere. The food was delicious. We had vegan spring rolls, pad Thai and red curry. The servings were huge and everything was full of flavour. We could not finish it all but really wanted to. It is definitely a bit more expensive than other places but it was worth it and I would still recommend it.
Have been a customer of Thai street for several years because it’s consistently yummy. Have probably been there or ordered more than 50 times. If you are looking for Bangkok style authentic Thai food, this is the place. Highly recommended for both delivery and for dine in. Favorites are green curry, chicken with chili and holy basil leaf and solid pad Thai and chicken with coconut milk soup. They also have a decent khao soi hai which is hard to find in Saigon. The som tom can be a bit hot or miss on spice - they tend to go a bit overboard on this one. Wish they would offer more selection of vegetables like kale! Service is warm and friendly. Makes me hungry just writing this review😂
