Food was good, but at 300k+ a sandwich, and over 1 tr for a simple bistro-style dinner for two (with no drinks), it pretty damn well should be. That's 10x the price at the stall just downstairs. I'm not unhappy to pay, but executing a decent sandwich at 10x street price isn't much of a feat. The cigarette smoke. The cigarette smoke was awful, and everywhere on the rooftop. We were at a table with two heavily smoking couples, with another heavily smoking couple just to our right, and another just in front. As a bonus, the DJ had a lit cigarette dangling from her mouth to show how transgressive she is. Gross. Yes, Parisian terrace culture and all that. Tell it to the oncologist. For our 1 tr expenditure we got allergies, clothes right to the laundry, feeling sick, and knowing we'd just gained a few points of cancer risk. Merci pour tout! I ordered water three times over the course of an hour. It never came. Fourth time was a charm. Stagiaires indeed. Magnifique. And the crowd? Didier and Sylvie from Perreux-sur-Marne visiting their son (of course, Kevin) and screaming out "em oi!!!" at the waitstaff every three seconds like it's a colonial Courtepaille. Kevin claims to work for Ogilvy, sells molly, and his girlfriend Vy goes by Vivian and knows the owner, just universally in Thao Dien knows the owner -- but now I'm just being petty. BTW, everybody in this cast smokes. Interesting lofi electronica concert on the middle floor much appreciated. Maybe a little too avant garde for me but mon dieu at least it wasn't "acoustic" with Bruno Mars covers, so that's a win. I'm not the target market here, and I dislike rooftop bars and Thao Dien prima facie, so I'm no impartial judge -- but I'll never stop calling this place Les Glandeurs.

Le Café des Stagiaires is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset or spend a relaxing evening with friends. The first floor has a lively bar atmosphere, while the rooftop offers an open-air bar café with a beautiful panoramic view of Landmark 81. The wine here is surprisingly good, and the overall ambiance feels both vibrant and comfortable at the same time. The music by the DJ is well chosen — not too loud, just enough to create a great mood while still allowing everyone to talk and enjoy the moment. A wonderful spot to unwind, enjoy the city lights, and simply have a really good evening.

This is a wonderful place to come and enjoy some open air on the Rooftop, have a great selection of beers different ones from Belgium, local beers, etc.! Have some really good food. Options in the snails are amazing! The service is great! Very friendly people, but you must come for the views of VinHomes Landmark/Central Park, the river, the subway, and just a nice open air atmosphere, good vibes good music.

The food wasn’t that great and the service was just okay. I had to wait a while to get help even though it wasn’t very busy. I only ordered an appetizer, the fried calamari, and it tasted like it may have been frozen, not fresh. The best part about this place is the rooftop bar; it’s one of my favorites.

Want to start my review by saying I spent equivalent of $11-13 USD so it's not about the money. But in a city that is known for its warmth and hospitality, this place leaves much to be desired and can go choke on a lap suong. Traveled from D1 on a hot Sunday afternoon to hear some Afro Cuban on its rooftop. I wish I could review the music but after waiting well past a half hour post its scheduled set time, I bounced. Cover was 150000 dong and my mocktail was roughly the same (I didn't care cause I just wanted to get out of there). Even Lauryn Hill had a DJ cover for her lateness and compared to these guys, she was on time. Expat heavy rooftop which is normally not my scene but was scoping out live music. Instead of tunes, I just caught an earful of the servers complaining about customers and making fun of them and saying they crowded their space to walk around. I kept wondering - do you wish for customers on a Sunday afternoon or is travel space the priority. Either way, after more than a half hour of overhearing either their indifference or disdain, I bounced. On the way out, I inquired about getting my door cover refunded since the set hadn't started yet (they were still plugging in extension cables). The young lady at the door said that there were no refunds. Wasn't gonna argue. As an artist and arts consultant, I am down to support musicians. I just can't attest to their quality because they're likely still setting up.
