Lavelle Library nằm trong một con hẻm cụt ở Thao Dien, nơi kiến trúc gần như bị lớp lớp cây xanh che khuất hoàn toàn. Phòng ăn mở ra phía khu vườn — điểm thu hút khá đông người đến chụp ảnh, nhưng không gian vẫn đủ yên tĩnh để nhà hàng thường xuyên tiếp đón các buổi ăn trưa công việc. Một cửa hàng hoa hoạt động ngay trong khuôn viên, giúp nơi này trở thành lựa chọn tiện lợi khi bữa ăn kiêm luôn một dịp đặc biệt.
Bếp trưởng từng học và làm việc tại Pháp, và thực đơn phản ánh rõ ảnh hưởng đó mà không mất đi sự gần gũi. Khách quen thường chọn scallop taco và rib eye, trong khi set lunch — từng bao gồm beef carpaccio và matcha tiramisu — là cách tiếp cận thực đơn có cấu trúc với mức giá hợp lý hơn. Món salmon nhận được nhiều lời khen đồng đều về cả phần ăn lẫn cách chế biến. Ngược lại, món scallop chính lại bị nhận xét về kích thước: chỉ một con sò điệp, cắt đôi — điều khiến một số thực khách rời đi tìm thêm chỗ ăn sau đó.

Trong số các lựa chọn ăn uống tại Thao Dien, Lavelle Library chiếm một vị trí riêng biệt: không phải quán cà phê bình dân, cũng không phải nhà hàng fine dining khô cứng, mà là thứ gì đó nằm giữa — nơi không gian đóng góp đáng kể vào trải nghiệm, không kém gì món ăn. Sự kết hợp giữa không khí sân vườn, kỹ thuật ẩm thực Pháp và một cửa hàng hoa ngay trong khuôn viên tạo nên cá tính khó lòng sao chép ở những con phố đông đúc hơn. Điểm đánh giá 4.3 trên 200 lượt nhận xét cho thấy chất lượng trải nghiệm được duy trì qua nhiều lần ghé thăm — điều mà các đánh giá cũng xác nhận.
It’s safe to say that I love everything about this place, from the location to the atmosphere to the service and the food, it’s one of my top favorites. I have been here many times, mostly for the scallop taco and the steak, but overall the food is just absolutely amazing, creative, and soulful. You just have to experience it yourself. Big recommendation!
Our family has been here for few times and we are totally satisfied by the atmosphere, decoration, service and foods. The greenery of this restaurant brings you closer to nature and make you relax. Service is great and the foods are delicious, yet awesome preparation. To me the cost is valuable for what you will be served and receive in here. Highly recommended place!
Pictures say it all! Friendly and talented chef who is back from France thus all the dishes would definitely satisfy you at its best. Restaurant is located at Thao Dien where is focal area of those who are savvy beautiful food and nice architecture. Obviously, Lavelle Library doesn't fail its part for such reputations as when I came could see many instagram-ers wandering around too. And restaurant also features a flower shop which will be convenient in case you need for special events. In short, food 10/10, decoration 10/10. Come and experience yourselves.
Lovely place, an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh. Very pretty garden and the food is good as well. They have a set lunch menu and the beef carpaccio, rib eye main and the macha tiramisu was just perfect. A quiet place and thus ideal for business lunches. All in all, a satisfying meal.
This is a large coffe shop. When I came, there were many special decoration here; especially, a miniature building model. About drinks, nothing special, I ordered a cup of cappuccino but the taste was really not good. You could park your car in font of the gate since this place is a dead end.
