Kute Donuts - Donut shop in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

This is one of my preferred donut shops. They have numerous locations across the city; addresses can be found easily on Google Maps or social media. Both the basic and special flavors are well-regarded, as they are not overly sweet or greasy. The pricing is considered reasonable compared to other stores. However, most locations are small, more suited for takeout. They do offer a menu of beverages and have a few small tables if you wish to stay for a short while. Staff are friendly and can provide advice if needed.

Discovered this newly opened donut shop right next to our favorite gelato spot, so of course, we had to give it a try. The texture is soft, chewy, and not overly sweet, making it really enjoyable. Honestly, it’s even better than Dunkin’ Donuts in the US! But while the texture is great, the flavors are pretty underwhelming. I tried milk tea and chocolate, and both tasted like artificial flavoring—nothing exciting. What really made the experience better was pairing the donut with gelato from Ciao Ciao next door. Highly recommend grabbing a donut here and heading over for some gelato—it’s a combo worth trying!

The Kute Donuts shop on Bui Vien Street is really cute and welcoming. The ambiance is calming and soft. It was our first time trying mochi donuts, and they were spot on. There were ample options, and everything looked delicious. Highly recommend!

This donut shop needs so much to improve.. the donut does not taste good enough & not many choices. Good staffs attitude and interesting interior design plus great location keep this place 3 star. Overall, it is hard to believe that i might not come back again.

Lovely space, small shop but has good ambience and very comfy. Donuts have great and interesting texture since they use mochi flour instead of all-purpose one. Drinks are also good (heavily recommend milk tea of all sorts) though i don't recommend lowering the sweetness since all the drinks originally are already decently sweet. Staffs are extremely polite and helpful! There's also seats outdoor. Extra point for good lightning, suitable for food photography!
