Kapi Café - Coffee shop in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

Such a beautiful café and such a fun experience! The atmosphere at Kapi Bars Cafe is absolutely gorgeous, with a unique and relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy your time there. The drinks were delicious, beautifully presented and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. It’s one of those places that feels special from the moment you walk in. We had such a lovely time and would definitely recommend Kapi Bars Cafe to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City. Capybara by the river — what an experience! 🦫✨ Honestly, it was awesome. The price makes sense since they care for the capybaras, and the drinks we ordered were delicious. The café is in a private village, so photos are limited — be respectful. Staff speak great English and share fun facts about each capybara 🤘 Definitely worth the visit. Around 250k–300k VND.

Need to take a buggy from the entrance to the cafe. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The cafe is OK, the highlight is the Capybaras which you can touch, pet and also feed. Kids love it. The smell is not too bad. Cafe is located near the river and you can also watch the boats passing by. LoTs of spots and places to take some nice pictures.

I’m so happy there’s a place like this in Ho Chi Minh City! 🥹🦫 I absolutely love capybaras, so getting to spend time with them was such a lovely experience. They’re incredibly cute and calm, and the whole place has such a cozy atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit for capybara lovers! 💕

Drinks are quite average but the views out to the river are just amazing. It's a very relaxing place. We tried a couple of their teas, the blood orange soda and coconut coffee, all of which were just okay. The Capybara are huge. There is an overpriced ticket to go inside the enclosure, but they can be seen from outside also. The cafe is inside a gated residential community and they don't allow non-residents to either walk or use a cab inside so you have to take a golf cart from the main gate (the ride is free). The guards at the gate were very kind and helpful.
