Hủ Tiếu Hồng Phát đã ba năm liên tiếp được Michelin ghi nhận — một danh hiệu cảm nhận được ngay từ khi tô hủ tiếu vừa được bưng ra. Món đặc trưng là hủ tiếu Nam Vang, phiên bản sợi gạo theo kiểu Phnom Penh vốn vẫn còn khá hiếm ở Thao Dien, phục vụ cả dạng nước lẫn dạng khô. Phần ăn khá đầy đặn, nước dùng thanh nhẹ hơn là đậm muối, và sự có mặt của lựa chọn thêm gan, tim cho thấy một bếp quen thuộc với kỹ thuật ẩm thực truyền thống miền Nam.
Sự sạch sẽ là điều được nhắc đi nhắc lại trong hàng trăm đánh giá, và không gian thực tế xứng với tiếng: bài trí đơn giản, bàn ghế kê thoáng rộng, giữ được không khí thư thái ngay cả trong giờ cao điểm. Nhân viên phục vụ nhanh nhẹn và chu đáo, vốn tiếng Anh đủ để tư vấn món cho khách lần đầu ghé. Khu vực ngồi ngoài trời phía đường Xuân Thủy thường hút những ai thích sáng và thoáng — bên trong vẫn dùng được nhưng hơi tối hơn.
Bánh bao ở đây cũng tự gây dựng được chỗ đứng riêng, được nhắc đến như chỗ ngon nhất trong khu vực lân cận — nhận xét được củng cố bởi nhiều đánh giá độc lập. Thực đơn đồ uống có cà phê sữa muối uống kèm rất hợp với tô hủ tiếu mặn ngọt, bên cạnh nước cam mật ong nghệ được giới thiệu như lựa chọn bổ dưỡng.
Mức giá nhỉnh hơn quán vỉa hè — các món dao động 150.000–160.000 VND — phản ánh phần ăn và danh tiếng Michelin hơn là không gian cầu kỳ. Thực khách là sự pha trộn giữa người nước ngoài sống gần đó và khách quen gắn bó với quán qua nhiều địa điểm. Bếp mở từ 7 giờ sáng, khiến đây trở thành một trong những lựa chọn ăn sáng đáng giá nhất trong khu phố. Điểm trừ duy nhất trong một hồ sơ nhìn chung rất tích cực là tiếng nhạc — khá to so với một không gian vốn hướng đến sự yên tĩnh.

Family recommended this eatery in operation for over 50 years. Three locations in Ho Chi Minh city. We attended the Thao Dien site with a group. Was served by Nguyen Hoang. Having eaten in so many places around this vibrant city this place did not dissapoint. We started with Banh Bao, waiter highly recommended & he was right, best I have eaten in Ho Chi Minh without a doubt. Then we all tried Cha Gio Tom Cua, absolutely fantastic ( a must try). Followed by Hu Tieu Nam Vang, my favourite dish of the evening. Flavour, fresh ingredients & just the right portion for a quality dish. We finished with sharing to try out the flavour of Mi Vit Tim. Once again, on point & the soup was incredible, the scent, the taste & portion. Left with 4 take away signature buns. Highly recommend visiting for lunch or dinner & will leave very satisifed. Ambients is warm, seating spacious, the waiter Hoang was absolute professional, friendly & well verse with the menu. Will be coming back for sure 100%.

The hu tieu was fantastic, and the spring rolls were the perfect complement to the meal. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the ingredients tasted fresh. If you enjoy noodle soup dishes, this place is definitely worth a visit.
