HÔM nằm trên một đoạn yên tĩnh của đường Trần Ngọc Diện, một quán cà phê được xây dựng xung quanh ý niệm về sự trở về quen thuộc — nhân viên chào đón khách bằng câu "chào mừng về nhà" ngay tại cửa, và không gian xứng đáng với cái tên đó qua từng chi tiết được chăm chút kỹ lưỡng.
Nội thất là sự phối hợp có chủ ý giữa những chiếc sofa, menu được thiết kế mang tính nghệ thuật và chiếc mâm quay đĩa vinyl mà chủ quán tự tay vận hành khi có mặt. Vào một buổi chiều đúng thời điểm, khách có thể ngồi ngay bên đầu đĩa và được chủ nhà chọn nhạc riêng cho mình, biến một lần ghé uống cà phê thành điều gì đó có chiều sâu và chủ ý hơn. Chính sự tinh tuyển ở mức độ đó đã tách HÔM ra khỏi những kiểu quán cà phê vô danh đang nhân rộng khắp Thao Dien.
Thực đơn đồ uống khá sáng tạo. Matcha pistachio strawberry tự nó đã đủ sức kéo khách quay lại, còn danh mục cà phê đủ đa dạng để khách quen hiếm khi gọi cùng một món hai lần. Những chiếc donut — đậm đà và thơm ngon chứ không hời hợt — ăn kèm rất hợp với cà phê nhà và đã trở thành món ăn vặt buổi chiều quen thuộc của quán.
Khách chủ yếu là giới trẻ, và bầu không khí phản ánh điều đó: bàn thường kín chỗ, tiếng ồn nền đều đặn, cảm giác chung là mọi người đang ở lại chứ không chỉ tạt qua. Các gia đình cũng ghé thăm, đặc biệt vào cuối tuần khi quán mở cửa đến 22h. Sự nhiệt tình của nhân viên là điểm nhất quán xuyên suốt các đánh giá — một vị khách còn đặc biệt nhắc đến tên một thành viên trong nhóm vì sự chu đáo, một điểm cộng đáng kể ở một khu phố không thiếu lựa chọn.
Không gian phù hợp cho việc đọc sách một mình, làm việc tập trung, hay những buổi tụ họp nhỏ. Quán thu hút cả cộng đồng người nước ngoài lẫn giới sáng tạo địa phương đang tập trung ở khu vực này của Quận 2, và những buổi chiều vinyl mang lại cho HÔM một cá tính mà hầu hết các quán cà phê lân cận không hề thử sức.

This cafe is very cute and cozy. The staff greet you with a warm 'welcome home!' The donuts and coffee were both rich and flavorful. Great place to cool off with a book.
Came here for tea time with my family, and got the seating area beside the vinyl player. The owner was around and he played for us some of the records. Sitting on the sofa and enjoying the vibes, the music in such an ambience is definitely what you should do here. The staffs we interacted with were friendly. The menu and interior here were curated artistically and wonderfully. There were multiple drinks on the menu that I wanted to order as they look and sounded really tasty. We ordered the yuzu salted buble, milk tea and Midori lime Japanese donut. The drinks were not overly sweet and it’s a solid choice if you’re a person that does not like overly sweetened drinks. All in all, the experience , service and interaction was impeccable. The price is standard and definitely worth it. Thank you to the owner for providing us with an amazing experience.
I'd like to give an update: The establishment has commented on my post and clarified the situation. They were respectful with the response (see below). I hope the VietNam ends the practice of caging birds as a form of entertainment or tradition. I was enjoying my time outside the yard of the café because I could hear birds chirping, but then I realized there were more than 6 caged birds outside the café 🤢 PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT establishments that cages animals just to stage an experience. If you want bird chirping plant more trees instead of putting them in a cage.
Amazing matcha café in Thao Dien. So peaceful and cosy. The matcha pistachio strawberry was very delicious. Will definitely go back to read and relax.
