DOYA JJAMBBONG nằm trên Đường Số 10, một con hẻm dân sinh yên tĩnh ở An Khánh — loại địa chỉ thường được truyền tai nhau hơn là xuất hiện trên bản đồ du lịch. Quán đã gây dựng lượng khách trung thành từ nhiều quốc tịch: người Hàn xa xứ, cư dân Nhật, và người Tây sống lâu năm tại đây — tất cả cùng chung một tiêu chí, là ăn đúng vị chứ không phải ăn na ná vị khi nói đến món Hàn-Trung.
Món chủ lực là jjambbong: nước dùng đỏ sậm, đậm vị, đầy hải sản tươi cùng sợi mì dày dai. Thực khách từ Hàn Quốc lẫn Nhật Bản đều nhận xét rằng cả cấu trúc nước lèo lẫn độ dai của mì đều đúng chuẩn — phản hồi có trọng lượng đến từ những người có điểm tham chiếu rõ ràng. Quán cũng có phiên bản không cay cho ai muốn giữ nguyên vị umami hải sản nhưng bỏ phần cay, gia vị để bàn giúp khách tự chỉnh thêm tùy thích. Jajangmyeon có mặt trên menu song song, và tangsuyuk — thịt heo sốt chua ngọt — lên bàn với phần ăn to đến mức khách lần đầu thường ngỡ ngàng.
Phần ăn trên toàn menu đều lớn so với mặt bằng chung của khu vực. Nhiều khách quen nhận xét rằng nhìn vào thực đơn thì thấy giá cao, nhưng sau khi đồ ăn lên bàn thì cảm giác lại khác. Mandu chiên ra đúng kiểu, vỏ giòn đều. Kimchi có thể gọi riêng như một món độc lập và vẫn ổn. Banchan đi kèm đủ đầy mà không có cảm giác cho qua loa. Phục vụ được nhắc đến nhiều lần với hai chữ thân thiện và chu đáo, kể cả vào những chiều thứ Bảy khi nhà hàng đông kín bàn.
Không gian bên trong rộng hơn so với vẻ ngoài của mặt tiền, phù hợp cho nhóm đông người. Maybe we came at the wrong time/day and picked the wrong items, but I dont understand the 4.9 rating... It was busy and tables all full, staff running, but still very polite and friendly. We choose the set menu with black bean noodles and spicy soup. The black bean noodle was very blend and lacking flavor compared to the spicy soup, which was overly spicy and salty. Wouldn't necessarily want to come back.
We stumble on this little gem while we were looking for a last minute dinner spot and honestly we are very happy about it! The dishes are really really tasty!! The sizes are super generous and the staff is really caring! We will come back definitely!!
We had a great experience here. The place was spacious, and the staff were friendly. We ordered a Doya Jjambbong and a Tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork). The noodles were decent but a bit small in portion, while the Tangsuyuk was delicious and generously sized. We’d definitely return to try more dishes.

I recently discovered 도야 짬뽕 in Ho Chi Minh City, and it completely exceeded my expectations! If you're craving authentic Korean-Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go. The jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) is incredibly flavorful — rich, spicy broth with generous portions of fresh seafood and perfectly cooked noodles. It tastes just like what you'd find in Korea! The menu also offers other classics like jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk, all prepared with great attention to detail. The flavors are bold and authentic, and you can tell the chef really knows what they're doing. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and welcoming, with friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. Whether you're Korean, Vietnamese, or a tourist looking to try something new, you'll feel right at home here. Highly recommend this place — it's a must-visit if you're in Ho Chi Minh and looking for something different and delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!
