Coastal Saigon - Restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

The atmosphere was great, but the seafood was too fishy for my taste, and the service was disappointing

Favorite place for lunchtime in Thao Dien. Not crowded at all, i like a quiet place to catch up with friends, nice riverview good service, menu is decent

I entered another world, a relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, without much noise... fresh air... light... and lots of flavor. Coastal Saigon is a restaurant inside the famous Riverside resort, a restaurant that perfectly complements the location... a set menu with fish or meat options, all made to order with fresh fish. Other dishes on the menu that I hope to try again... Actually, I want to try living in Riverside if the price is attractive after talking to the sales department 😅 so I can go to Coastal Saigon more often. I recommend it for anyone who wants to have lunch or dinner in peace.

I love this place so much all the drinks and Starter are good ig. About the food for dining, I don't think it's worth it. Everything are very simple like it's so mid for the place and for the price also A nice place to have a chat with your coworkers or colleagues. If you're looking for somewhere more mature than a coffee shop, this is the place. And outstanding Sunset obviously

Located at the back of a villa compound in Thao Dien is this beautifully decorated restaurant offering riverside views, chill vibes, and a lovely outdoor patio. We visited for a weekday lunch. On offer was the set lunch menu, as well as the main menu. I ordered the Tuna Tataki and Grilled Pork Shoulder from the lunch menu, and my dining partner ordered the Tiger Prawn Roll and Pad Thai from the main menu. Before the starters arrived, we were served grilled sourdough accompanied by olive oil and balsamic vinegar - a nice little addition to the meal. The seaweed salad and ponzu sauce complemented the Tuna Tataki, which was fresh and properly seared. The Grilled Pork Shoulder was also well made and delicious. While both dishes were beautifully presented (as were the other dishes), they were on the small side. My dining partner also enjoyed both her dishes, noting the freshness of the seafood. The service was also friendly and attentive. Worth a repeat? Yes - for a relaxed lunch with a beautiful riverside setting. The lunch menu offers good value, especially given the quality and attention to detail, even if portions are a little small. Prices on the main menu lean much higher, though.
