I had a great experience at this Korean restaurant. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the service was good.

The vibe is quite unique and cinematic — it feels like something you’d see in a Korean movie. The food, however, is pretty average. The fish cake soup was decent, but the rest was nothing special. The corn with cheese was a bit of a miss, way too oily. Overall, it’s a nice spot if you’re looking for a new experience, but the food could definitely be improved.

This Korean restaurant perfectly recreates the vibe of a "Pojangmacha (Pocha)," a Korean drinking tent. With its red vinyl tents and stainless steel tables, the place has a great, immersive atmosphere that feels like you've stepped right into a K-drama. The menu has a wide range of food, from classic street food snacks to trendy dishes that are popular with young people. A standout is the "Kimpitang" (Kimchi Pizza Tangsuyuk), which is a guilty-pleasure dish of Korean sweet and sour pork topped with kimchi and cheese—it’s a mix of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors. You can also get other authentic Korean dishes like "Yurinki," a fried chicken with a fresh kick from chopped raw chili peppers; "Oden soup" with a comforting clam-based broth; and a rich "Cheese rice" in a sizzling stone pot that’s perfect to finish the meal. You get an authentic atmosphere and a lot of food options for a reasonable price, so it gets crowded, especially on weekends. A friend of mine called to book a table for six and was initially told they could only give us one table since it was a Friday night. (Thankfully, after some discussion, the owner got on the phone and agreed to give us two.) While a "Pocha" is typically a spot for a second or third round of drinks, this place has such a big food menu that it's also a great choice for your first stop of the night.

The restaurant is tucked away on a small street in Thảo Điền. From the outside, it looks more like a bar – dark and closed-off – so it’s easy to miss. But once you step inside, the space opens up, with a decent-sized ground floor and an even bigger upstairs area. The vibe is very Korean, with tent-like setups that make the place feel unique and perfect for a quick photo. It’s air-conditioned, with fans to keep things extra cool, and there’s even a call bell at each table to get the staff’s attention – super convenient. The service is good. The staff are assigned by floors, so it’s easy to flag someone down when needed. They’re quick, polite, and efficient. Now, about the food. The menu isn’t huge – maybe 20-30 dishes tops – and doesn’t feel as diverse as other Korean spots in town. One thing to note: they don’t have bánh canh, which some might expect from a Korean restaurant. But honestly, the food is tasty, and the portions are pretty generous. The tokbokki stood out to me – really flavorful but quite spicy, so heads up if you’re not into heat. As for the pricing, it’s on the higher side. Most dishes are in the 200-300k range or more. And here’s the kicker: if you pay by card, they tack on an extra VAT charge (somewhere between 8-10%). This wasn’t super clear at first, so it’s something to keep in mind. The good stuff? The place is beautifully designed, the food is solid, and the staff are great. It’s also easy to find and quick with service. The not-so-great? The menu could use more variety, the prices feel a bit steep, and the VAT surcharge for card payments is a little annoying. Overall, CCC is worth checking out if you’re into unique spots with good food and a chill Korean vibe. Just be prepared for the prices and bring your spice tolerance for that tokbokki! (8/10)

Very impressive and creative Korean street tent bar style - pojangmacha that offers a truly unique Korean dining experience with plastic chairs in a tent and fill up with Korean cuisine like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), odeng (fish cakes on a stick), grilled pork, Korean fried chicken,… and soju. CCC Korean Style Pub offers similarly but it’s indoor. The tents upstairs are super cute but they probably may be suitable for groups of 2-4 people only. The staffs are very friendly and helpful giving some advice to order the recommended foods. We ordered quite a lot for 2 people with Makgeolli - Chestnut from KOOKSOONDANG BREWERY and one of the ordered dishes was cup ramen fried rice, Korea latest viral’s trend. Interesting experience to explore different trend and found it funny, taste is not bad, yummy but quite strange with the combination or soft ramen, fried rice with egg, it looks like a cute “pudding” cup. Makgeolli is an alcoholic drink from Korea. Milky white appearance, sweet and sour profile and aromas of rice. Should be shaken well before serving and usually served chilled, chestnut taste is just right for us. Of course compared with the real pocha (pojangmacha) in Seoul, CCC Pub is quite small and it’s built inside an apartment so we won’t be able to enjoy the street and outdoor atmosphere. However, it’s new experience and style in Thao Dien, Saigon that we should try once, it won’t disappoint us.
