Thao Dien의 일식 레스토랑 대부분은 이자카야나 라멘 형식을 좇는다. Musubitei는 그보다 훨씬 좁고 뚜렷한 길을 택한다. 일본 편의점과 아침 식사 문화의 근간인 오니기리, 즉 손으로 빚은 주먹밥을 중심으로 한 메뉴가 전부다. 주방은 매일 오전 7시부터 가동되어, Thao Dien에서 brunch 흉내가 아닌 진짜 일본식 아침 식사를 즐길 수 있는 몇 안 되는 곳 중 하나다.
오니기리 라인업은 소박한 것부터 풍성한 것까지 폭넓게 갖추고 있다. 절제된 쪽에는 소금 오무스비와 다시마 오니기리가 있어, 가장 전통적인 형태의 깔끔하고 은은한 맛을 보여준다. 좀 더 진하고 강렬한 쪽으로는 매콤한 명란(明太子)과 이쿠라 연어알 오니기리가 있다. 재료값이 아깝지 않을 만큼의 짭조름한 풍미가 특징이다. 유자 소금 참치 오니기리는 산뜻한 시트러스 향을 더하고, 난코 매실 오니기리는 우메보시 특유의 새콤달콤한 맛을 그 이름 없이도 충실히 담아낸다.
사이드 메뉴는 과하지 않게, 그러나 알차게 구성되어 있다. 크랩 크림 크로켓은 바삭하게 튀겨 속이 크리미한 일본식 스타일로, 이 하나만으로도 방문할 이유가 충분한 메뉴다. 타마고야키 롤 오믈렛과 가라아게 치킨은 정석적인 곁들임 메뉴를 충실히 채운다. 명란 갓절임 볶음과 참치·명란 샐러드는 주먹밥 형식을 넘어 어란(魚卵)을 전면에 내세운 일본 풍미에 능숙한 주방임을 시사한다.
구글 리뷰 56개에 4.1점의 평점을 보유한 Musubitei는, 자신이 무엇을 먹으러 왔는지 정확히 아는 손님들을 끌어모은다. Quốc Hương 거리에 위치한 덕분에 Thao Dien 외국인 거주 밀집 지역에서도 가까우며, 오후 11시까지 이어지는 영업 시간은 점심 시간이 지나서도 간편하게 한 끼를 해결할 수 있는 선택지로 기능한다.
The onigiri, aka omusubi, here was delicious. not overly salty and a very decent size! i did the wrong thing and though itd be small so i ordered a few omusubis and extra other dishes i can happily say i was very full and very satisfied! the oden was surprisingly delicious! it had a lovely flavour to it, rich and deep i didn't need to make any booking. seating is indoors with aircon. would recommend for anyone craving the omusubis (onigiris) in the area
Omusubi, Japanese rice ball, is a focused menu here. I felt it was authentic Japanese Omusubi. If I would tell about my presence, the rice was a bit too steamed. However, all ingredients including rice, seafoods, seaweed and vegetables and pork in Ton-Jiru were professionally prepared. Surprised that such a well organized Japanese restaurant is available in Ho Chi Minh City.
I had my lunch delivered from here. The rice balls are decent, but they could put more stuffing inside given the price. The best thing was their 豚汁. They could just be a 豚汁 restaurant and it was just that good.
I basically never been to the store, only order on the grab, but so far it is the only authentic onigiri, and 豚汁in the town!!!! Best for breakfast , or light lunch. will be best if they can have 梅干しおにぎり ＾＾.
Let me add furikake or tobiko on other onigiri (why there's no options)! And where's the crunchy seaweed? It's just not right without it. Fix this and I'll take my review down.
