The teahouse has a truly beautiful and authentic ambiance a lovely traditional setting that makes you want to stay longer. Unfortunately, the experience fell short with the matcha itself. I paid a premium price for a traditional matcha, but it arrived only lukewarm. After I politely complained and asked for a new one prepared properly hotter, the staff clearly didn’t understand that matcha should be whisked with water around 70°C. As a complete amateur, I even knew this basic detail, which made the lack of knowledge quite disappointing. Great atmosphere, but the service really needs better training on the product they’re serving.
