The Dreamers Bakery & Coffee - Bakery in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

Their coffee and pastry combo is a reasonably good deal for this area. The combo includes a large variety of both savory and sweet pastries. I would recommend this coffee shop as to meet friends for a chat or to work quietly, due to its atmosphere together with the coffee and pastry combo. If they didn't have the combo, I wouldn't recommend it as I feel it's overpriced. Some outdoor ground level seating, but it would be quite noisy with the traffic; a couple of tables on the ground floor. The main seating area with toilets is upstairs: spacious, a variety of seating options and a play corner for children. Pleasing decor and architecture. I ordered the salted egg croissant but it's quite different from what they show on their menu (far less salted egg topping). I also had the cold brew cam xa which was basically watered-down coffee with a hint of lemon grass and orange - not recommended. My friend ordered the tiramisu coffee and she said it tasted like bac xiu, not tiramisu. Her chicken pie seemed to be a generous amount of crust. Serve-yourself chilled water is available on the first floor. Service was prompt and friendly. There is motorbike parking in the front (although rather limited) with a helpful and friendly security guard. Turning off the main road onto Thao Dien, this shop was rather difficult to spot due to poor signage - and it's right at the Y intersection, so you'll be more distracted by trying to negotiate the traffic if you're driving then spotting the coffee shop. Right beside it is a second coffee shop with even more limited parking. (It specializes in sourdough bread made on the spot with a dizzying variety of sandwiches priced at around 170.000 and up with vegan options. I perused the extensive menu as I waited for my friend - until I realized I was in the wrong coffee shop. 🤪) Don't get them confused.
It’s been a favourite of ours for more than 3 years. The staff are the friendliest you’ll meet, making you feel welcome and special every time. Our fav is the 98K morning combo. A hot latte and a freshly baked cake of choice. I’d highly recommend a visit. You’ll be glad you did.
This is such a reliable and user-friendly bakery cafe. Not only are the pastries delicious, but the menu also includes local Vietnamese dishes—perfect for travelers who might be hesitant about street food. The prices remain casual without compromising on authentic local flavors. The upstairs seating area is absolutely charming and ideal for a tea break. With consistently polite and friendly service, it’s a place I find myself returning to again and again.
Amazingly georgeous! Love this coffee bakery shop so much. You can have coffee, juice, tea, icecream, pastries, cake, bread, breakfast or lunch. Its decoration is perfect: greenery, artistic, bright and cozy. My latte is great, custart is yummy and beautiful. Price range of drinks is 70k-120K, food is 145k, cake and bread is around 60K. FYI, In Thao Dien, there are 2 shops and this one is larger.
