High Tide는 Nguyễn Văn Hưởng의 한 모퉁이를 차지하고 있으며, 바보다는 뒷마당에 가까운 구조로 — 개방된 측면과 탁 트인 분위기, 주말에 자리가 꽉 차더라도 쾌적함을 유지하는 야외 좌석을 갖추고 있다. 손님층은 압도적으로 외국인 거주자 위주로, 다양한 생맥주(아사히 포함), 당구대, 다트 보드, 라이브 스포츠를 번갈아 중계하는 대형 스크린이 늘어선 간결한 구성에 이끌린다. Thao Dien에서 경기 관람 자체가 방문 목적이 되는 몇 안 되는 장소 중 하나다.
메뉴는 확실히 펍의 영역에 머문다. Battered seabass fish & chips는 믿음직한 대표 메뉴이며, 치킨 윙 — 6조각, 소스 선택 가능 — 은 리뷰에서 꾸준히 호평을 받는다. 스매쉬 버거는 호주산 소고기를 사용하며, 캐러멜라이즈드 베이컨 어니언과 피클드 오이를 곁들여 두 겹으로 눌러 구워낸다. Jalapeno Bacon Poutine은 튀긴 감자, 고기 소스, 모짜렐라, 체다, 칠리를 층층이 쌓아 함께 나눠 먹기 좋게 구성한 요리다. 트러플 프라이, 할라피뇨 파퍼, 차치키를 곁들인 lamb roll 같은 스낵류가 음주 메뉴를 채운다.
주말 영업은 토요일과 일요일 오전 11시 30분부터 시작되어, 저녁 전용 목적지라기보다 점심 방문지로도 충분히 활용할 수 있다. 평일은 오후 3시에 오픈하며, 저녁 더위가 가시면 야외 공간이 비로소 제 매력을 발휘한다. 오너가 직접 상주하며 세심하게 운영한다 — 리뷰에 반복적으로 등장하는 언급으로, 우연이 아닌 일관된 특징으로 읽힌다.
Thao Dien의 다른 선택지들과 비교했을 때, High Tide는 미식을 겨루는 곳이 아니다. 매력은 분위기에 있다. 바가 중심이 되는 허식 없는 오픈에어 공간, 그리고 긴 시간을 버틸 만큼 든든한 음식. 경기를 관람하고, 당구 한 판 치고, 복잡한 칵테일 리스트 없이 편하게 마시고 싶은 그룹에게 High Tide는 믿을 수 있는 선택이다.
Nice place to watch live sports events on big screen. Love the outdoor area. Prices are a little high (tide) especially wine, 180k for a glass....outch and I had the worse quesadilla of my life 😑 Thanks god they have beers, fair price, and Asahi at 60k for a glass. Waitresses are VERY pushy. At the exact moment you finish, they are over you asking you for "one more"....Bui Vien feelings.
We came here on a Wednesday night when they were advertising 50% off for steak and when we arrived at 7 PM, they were sold out. They need to update the menu because several things are still showing on it, but they no longer serve - tacos or hotdogs. Overall, a good atmosphere and about seven beers on tap.

Great open bar to grab a beer or western meal. Theres a pool table, dart board and live sports. The food is delicious, plenty of cheap beers on tap. Overall a great spot.
Great atmosphere just around the corner. Opened space. perfect spot for a beer date. My fav way here to relax is playing billard.
