BLACK RUMOR - SALAD BAR - Health food restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

Looking to try a new Poke shop around Thao Dien and chanced upon Black Rumor. It's pretty quiet on Sunday afternoon. Only 2 other customers. Shop is cosy and comfortable. Has poke, salad, granola, oats etc. Ordered Poke Salmon.... Ingredients taste fresh as expected from Poke Bowl Unfortunately compared to my usual Poke shop, they don't offer customised options (only can add on), toppings are lesser, portion is smaller and price is higher (Paid VND205). Also crab stick is processed food, which I don't think should be added into Poke bowl. I don't think I will come back for Poke again but I'm keen to try other selections next time, especially the Oat soft serve ice cream.

A great healthy food spot in the Thao Dien area. They specialize in salads, poke bowls, oat smoothies, and other clean, nutritious options. The owner seems to be Korean—and clearly a big BLACKPINK fan! You’ll notice K Pop photos all over the walls, and even the restaurant name has a similar vibe. This time I tried their Tuna Poke, and it was really delicious. The highlight was definitely their chili sauce—highly recommended, don’t skip it. I’m already planning to come back to try their yogurt next time. Prices are very reasonable, around 100,000–200,000 VND, which is great value for the quality. By the way, the girl staff member who served us was super friendly and charming, which made the experience even better 🤭 Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Great place for dinner😍 We came with my son and were very satisfied. There is a wide variety of dishes options for every taste, from light meals to more filling choices. A big plus is that each dish has its calorie count listed, which is very convenient for those who track their nutrition Everything we ordered was really delicious: nice presentation, fresh ingredients, and well-balanced flavors. We expected just a simple dinner, but ended up having a truly enjoyable experience

Came on a Friday around 2/3pm and I was the only one there lol very chill but probably busy/popular in the evenings and during usual meal times. Food was tasty and it was pretty average pricing for expat food. Not a steal of a deal or crazy expensive either. Nice to have healthy options and be able to add or remove stuff from the bowls if you want. They had Poke bowls, salads, smoothie bowls, overnight oats etc. plus oatmilk ice cream 🍦 Would come back^^
