프랑스어 이름이 그 본질을 명확히 전한다 — légumes는 채소를 뜻한다 — Légumes Vietnam은 Nguyễn Cừ에 자리한 2층 공간에서 그 약속을 충실히 이행하며, 잘 갖춰진 건강 식료품점과 주스·스무디 바를 한데 결합해 놓았다. 이 콘셉트는 건강을 중시하는 Thao Dien 주민들에게 딱 맞는 자리를 차지하고 있다. 카운터에서 아사이볼이나 블렌디드 스무디를 즐긴 뒤, 유기농 식료품과 냉압착 주스, 아르티산 초콜릿까지 들고 집으로 돌아갈 수 있다. 카페 방문과 장보기를 한 번에 해결한다는 이 이중적 기능은, 대부분의 가게가 둘 중 하나에만 집중하는 이 동네에서 쉽게 찾기 어려운 조합이다. Google 리뷰 647건에서 4.8점을 기록하며 지역 내 최고 평점 매장 중 하나로 자리매김했는데, 이는 단순한 참신함이 아닌 꾸준한 실행력을 보여주는 지표다. 매일 오전 7시에 문을 열어 동네가 본격적으로 깨어나기 전 일찍 일어나는 이들과 아침 러너들을 맞이하며, 오후 9시 30분까지 영업해 저녁 장보기 수요까지 커버한다. 수입 건강식품, 슈퍼푸드, 최소한의 가공만 거친 식품들로 구성된 상품 구성은, 외국인 가족과 건강 관리에 관심 많은 현지 단골을 비슷한 비율로 끌어들이는 종류의 셀렉션이다. Thao Dien의 일반 편의점과 비교했을 때, 이곳의 초점은 명백히 식재료의 품질과 투명성에 맞춰져 있으며, 스무디 바는 매장 선반에 무엇이 진열되어 있는지를 직접 보여주는 살아있는 시연장 역할을 한다.
Finally a place to find affordable natural healthy products. Vegan protein is made from real ingredients and is a great price! Amazing smoothie and açaí bowls, bulk seeds and nuts, get the pumpkin seeds. Mindful packaging, aluminum free deodorant. Mindful about plastic waste and very knowledge friendly staff!

Legumes is a great vegan friendly store. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The products at legumes are carefully selected and crafted. There are gluten free options as well. The deli shop is quick. Legumes has fresh baked goods as well. Perfect place for nutritious options
This is one of my favourite stores in Saigon. Everything is home-made, with quality simple ingredients at a good price point. It is perfect for vegans and anybody that is health conscious or wants to try Vietnamese classic snacks without all of the MSG and chemicals. You can also buy huge bags of nuts at really reasonable prices, again all natural without chemicals or additives. I couldn’t recommend this store enough to people looking for healthy natural food.
The good: wide variety of vegan-friendly products and ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere. Some are marked as organic. Good attitude, English speaking staff. The bad: I tried several dishes and products by now and everything was below average, some awful. The gelatos are ghastly, just tasteless and frozen watery mess (tried avocado and pistachio, the latter turned out to contain milk powder – why?) The oat bowls are served with understeeped instant oats (ugh!) that are guaranteed to cause stomach discomfort — for that price you can cook real oats for 5 minutes. The coconut bread was very bitter. The vegan nutella was so-so, full of oil that kept separating. A smoothie bowl was just ok at best. Even worse, the prices are atrocious even for this expensive neighborhood. Just go to Happy Tree or Nuts Valley nearby to get many of the products with better quality and at much lower prices. I might still return if I’m craving something specific, even though I know I’ll be disappointed.
