Bếp nghiêng về phong cách Nhật Bản hiện đại, dù thực đơn trải dài qua nhiều nguồn cảm hứng: steak được đề cao như món đặc trưng, thịt bò chín mềm và ngấm đều, với phần đông thực khách nghiêng về sốt tiêu đen hơn sốt phô mai. Vịt quay ăn kèm nước chấm riêng và cũng được nhắc đến không ít trong các đánh giá. Xiên tôm — cà chua bi, bacon, sốt wasabi — là kiểu kết hợp đọc qua thấy lạ nhưng ăn vào lại thuyết phục bất ngờ.
Không khí quán thay đổi rõ rệt sau 8 giờ tối khi DJ lên sóng, năng lượng cũng theo đó tăng dần. Chính âm lượng này là điểm bị góp ý nhiều nhất trong các đánh giá: ồn đến mức trò chuyện cần phải cố lên, một sự đánh đổi mà mỗi nhóm khách có thể nhìn nhận khác nhau. Tiệc sinh nhật và liên hoan nhóm chiếm phần lớn bàn trong quán — điều này phù hợp với định dạng — set menu cho bốn người bao phủ nhiều món mà không cần phải cân não quá nhiều.
Mức giá được đánh giá là hợp lý với cộng đồng quốc tế trong khu vực, không cao đến mức chỉ dành cho dịp đặc biệt. Cocktail được nhiều thực khách đề cập riêng — các lựa chọn mang hơi hướng Nhật Bản và thức uống pha aperol — cùng danh sách rượu vang và bia được nhận xét là ổn chứ không quá phong phú. Dịch vụ qua các đánh giá đều được ghi nhận là chu đáo và chuyên nghiệp.
Với Thao Dien, nơi mà lựa chọn ăn uống thường thiên về phong cách thoải mái bình dân hoặc đẩy giá lên cao, ZumWhere giữ vị trí ở giữa: bữa tối chỉn chu với không gian tự tạo ra bầu không khí riêng theo từng giờ đêm, đồ ăn đáp ứng được kỳ vọng ở hầu hết các món, và thực khách đến với tâm thế sẵn sàng ngồi lại đến khuya.
I celebrated my cousin-twice-removed’s birthday at Zumwhere, and it was such a great experience! 🎉✨ Zumwhere has an amazing atmosphere; perfect for relaxing and really enjoying the evening. The food was super tasty and full of flavor. On top of that, the music was on point. They were playing R&B while we were there, and I was vibing the entire time. 🎶 Great food, great music, great energy. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!
The food was decent, nothing exceptional but not bad either. However, the experience was really overshadowed by how loud the music was. It was almost impossible to have a normal conversation without raising our voices, and after a while, it just got frustrating. We got really upset and had to leave early. It’s a shame because the place has potential, but the volume completely killed the vibe. If they could just turn the music down a bit, it would actually be a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
The place is quite spacious with clearly separated zones, though the fabric on the chairs looked a bit worn and faded. We went as a group of 3 and ordered most of the restaurant’s signature dishes. The highlight was definitely the steak – the beef was tender and juicy, and my friends personally preferred it with the black pepper sauce over the cheese sauce. The roasted duck was also excellent, especially with the dipping sauce that matched perfectly. For starters, the taro salad was a great choice – crispy fried taro shreds paired with shrimp. The sushi rolls were tasty, but the fried rice wasn’t impressive much, a little bland for my taste. Overall, the display of all the dishes was beautiful. The tiramisu was creamy and quite satisfying.
Zumwhere Thao Dien is a great spot for gatherings and group hangouts. The atmosphere is lively, especially after 8 PM when the DJ starts playing, which adds a fun energy to the space. The food was great, well-seasoned and perfect for sharing. Overall, a solid place to unwind with friends in a vibrant setting.
Difficult to try 9 plates in a single restaurant and enjoy every single one. All the food was well cooked, presented and fresh. Special mention for the prawn skewer with cherry tomatoes, bacon and wasaby sauce, an unusual combination that surprise your taste buds. If you choose the menu for 4 people you will have enough food of great quality ad an affordable price especially if you come from Europe, Australia or USA. Good selection of beers and wines. Staff always professional and gentle. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, good for a celebration, a romantic date or a friend reunion. If you are in district 2 you must try.
