Bếp của quán nghiêng về phong cách Nhật hiện đại với không ít thử nghiệm thú vị: xiên tôm kết hợp cà chua bi, bacon và wasabi xuất hiện trên một đĩa duy nhất — và thực sự gây bất ngờ — trong khi salmon carpaccio và sashimi tôm là những lựa chọn quen thuộc dành cho những ai mê hải sản sống.
Món bít tết nhận được lời khen nhất quán — thịt bò mềm, được để nghỉ đúng cách, ăn kèm sốt tiêu đen hoặc phô mai tùy chọn, và đa số thực khách đều nghiêng về sốt tiêu. Vịt quay bổ sung vào danh sách món chính và đi kèm nước chấm được không ít người đánh giá nhắc đến riêng.
Set menu cho bốn người đủ rộng để cảm nhận được bức tranh tổng thể của bếp mà không rơi vào cảm giác quá cầu kỳ, và mức giá thấp hơn nhiều so với những gì cách trình bày món ăn gợi lên — nhất là với những ai quen với mặt bằng giá nhà hàng ở châu Âu hay Úc.
Không khí thay đổi rõ nét khi DJ lên sân sau 8 giờ tối, kéo năng lượng từ bữa tối trò chuyện thư giãn sang gần hơn với một đêm đi chơi thật sự — R&B là giai điệu chủ đạo hầu hết các buổi. Âm lượng này đáng lưu ý: phù hợp với các nhóm đến ăn mừng hay xả hơi, nhưng ít phù hợp hơn với ai muốn có một cuộc trò chuyện dài qua bàn ăn.
Phục vụ chu đáo và không hối hả trong suốt buổi tối. Ở Thao Dien, nơi nhiều nhà hàng hướng đến cộng đồng expat thường chọn hướng fusion an toàn hay các món ăn phương Tây quen thuộc, quán này tạo ra một hướng đi riêng — phong cách Nhật, tập trung vào buổi tối và được xây dựng xung quanh các món ăn chung bàn.
I celebrated my cousin-twice-removed’s birthday at Zumwhere, and it was such a great experience! 🎉✨ Zumwhere has an amazing atmosphere; perfect for relaxing and really enjoying the evening. The food was super tasty and full of flavor. On top of that, the music was on point. They were playing R&B while we were there, and I was vibing the entire time. 🎶 Great food, great music, great energy. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!
The food was decent, nothing exceptional but not bad either. However, the experience was really overshadowed by how loud the music was. It was almost impossible to have a normal conversation without raising our voices, and after a while, it just got frustrating. We got really upset and had to leave early. It’s a shame because the place has potential, but the volume completely killed the vibe. If they could just turn the music down a bit, it would actually be a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
The place is quite spacious with clearly separated zones, though the fabric on the chairs looked a bit worn and faded. We went as a group of 3 and ordered most of the restaurant’s signature dishes. The highlight was definitely the steak – the beef was tender and juicy, and my friends personally preferred it with the black pepper sauce over the cheese sauce. The roasted duck was also excellent, especially with the dipping sauce that matched perfectly. For starters, the taro salad was a great choice – crispy fried taro shreds paired with shrimp. The sushi rolls were tasty, but the fried rice wasn’t impressive much, a little bland for my taste. Overall, the display of all the dishes was beautiful. The tiramisu was creamy and quite satisfying.
Zumwhere Thao Dien is a great spot for gatherings and group hangouts. The atmosphere is lively, especially after 8 PM when the DJ starts playing, which adds a fun energy to the space. The food was great, well-seasoned and perfect for sharing. Overall, a solid place to unwind with friends in a vibrant setting.
Difficult to try 9 plates in a single restaurant and enjoy every single one. All the food was well cooked, presented and fresh. Special mention for the prawn skewer with cherry tomatoes, bacon and wasaby sauce, an unusual combination that surprise your taste buds. If you choose the menu for 4 people you will have enough food of great quality ad an affordable price especially if you come from Europe, Australia or USA. Good selection of beers and wines. Staff always professional and gentle. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, good for a celebration, a romantic date or a friend reunion. If you are in district 2 you must try.
