Món burrito thịt bò là điểm sáng bất ngờ nhất: thịt bò xé nhỏ nhồi vào bánh tortilla còn ấm, phục vụ kèm hai loại sốt và một miếng chanh, có thể yêu cầu thêm tại quầy. Món milkshake protein chocolate được rót vào ly với sốt tráng dọc theo thành—một chi tiết nhỏ nhưng tinh tế, cho thấy sự tỉ mỉ trong bếp. Khoai tây chiên có ba lựa chọn hương vị topping và được tặng miễn phí vào mỗi thứ Sáu. Sau bữa ăn, nhân viên đôi khi tự mang ra một phần kem miễn phí mà không cần nhắc.
Mỗi món ăn đều ghi rõ hàm lượng protein—chi tiết này hé lộ đối tượng khách hàng chủ yếu: người nước ngoài lẫn người địa phương muốn theo dõi macro mà vẫn không bỏ lỡ một chiếc burger đúng nghĩa. Phục vụ luôn được khen ngợi vì thái độ nhiệt tình và khả năng giao tiếp tiếng Anh tự tin. Vị trí trong hẻm đòi hỏi một chút công tìm đường, nhưng chính điều đó cũng giúp lượng khách vãng lai không quá đông và không khí luôn thảnh thơi, không vội vã.
Ngày thường mở cửa từ 15:00 đến 23:00; cuối tuần mở sớm hơn từ 11:00. Thứ Ba nghỉ. Với 231 đánh giá đạt mức trung bình 4,8 sao, phản hồi từ thực khách nhất quán một cách hiếm có với một quán nhỏ như vậy—hầu hết ý kiến chỉ tập trung vào việc điều chỉnh gia vị hơn là bất kỳ khiếm khuyết căn bản nào, điều đó cho thấy Pingu's Burger là lựa chọn đáng tin cậy cho bất kỳ ai trong khu vực đang thèm một thứ gì đó hơn hẳn đồ ăn chuỗi.
I was surprised that buns were very soft. The sauce is too sweet, so I think it would be good to reduce the sweetness a little more and bring it closer to a demi-glace sauce style. Or, give the patty a little more salt and pepper, and I think even just the saltiness of the cheese would also bring out the original deliciousness of the ingredients. (But it’s better if the saltiness isn’t too strong, isn’t it..) The staff’s eloquent English and atmosphere were nice.
They have all the basics (and more) that you can find in the West when it comes to burgers. The burrito is a bit wet. Personally, I don't like a burrito that is wet inside, but it's still good. I also got Pingu's burger, and to me, it's one of the best burgers I've had in Vietnam. I've had Eddie's, Back's, Soul, and Bunz Burger (all are top-tier burger joints), and this one is up there. I love ice cream, but I'm a bit lactose intolerant, so I avoid it unless it's excellent, and this place has one of the best, if not the best, vanilla ice cream in Vietnam. I was not expecting it since it was free... On top of all this, condiments are free, including jalapeños (super rare in Vietnam, which is why it's kinda pricey) 🤯🤯 The only thing I would add to this place is root beer to the drink option. THEN you can make root beer floats with their delicious vanilla ice cream. 🫡 The only negative part is the whole place probably fit 5-6 people. Quite small... and since its in a small street neighborhood, only limited motorbike parking is availiable...
Such a great little place for a burger. Was a bit worried when I saw that they specifically stated the protein level in each dish. If you’re like me, don’t worry! Great burger, great service. Tried their beef burger and ice cream, both delicious
Great burger spot hidden in an alley! Finding Pingu’s Burger takes a bit of effort, but it’s absolutely worth it. The burgers are fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The ingredients taste fresh, and the portions are generous. The service is friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in Thao Dien and craving a great burger, this is the place to go!
Very decent, I like it. I actually only went to try the Chocolate Protein Milkshake so I got a side order of Beef Burrito 😅. The shake was so so good with some cheeky chocolate sauce along the sides. The burrito was excellent full of shredded beef and comes with two sauces and a slice of lime. They offered me more sauces at the counter to help myself. They also waited until I finished and give me a free ice cream. Service alone is five stars.
