I tried the vanilla and lemon flavors, but I just don't think it tastes really good. I’m a big fan of canelés, and these felt quite average in terms of taste. I’m clearly not a fan of adding sweet toppings to an already sweet pastry, it makes the overall taste way too sugary for me. To the point it is even hard to taste anything in the end. On the positive side, they look beautiful and would make a really cute gift. Overall, more appealing to the eyes than to the palate.

Cannele for takeaway, taste not bad, many flavours to choose from, but some are not available for mini cannele.

Was looking for a best pastry in HCMC and I stumble upon the Mon Cannelé on google. True enough this the best cannelé in HCMC. Staff are nice and well versed about their products.

Excellent canneles: a crunchy crust and custardy center. The kumquat cannele had a sour punch that balances well with the rich flavour. Located on the fourth floor of the department store.

The best canelés I had in Saigon! I found them at Takashimaya B1 floor by chance. The texture was on point while they offer a wide range of flavors - from kumquat to caramel. I ordered a box of 4; 2 vanilla, 1 kumquat and 1 raspberry (which they mistakenly put matcha but nvm, no harm done.) Hands down to the classic vanilla ones while the rest were also very nice. Verdict: If you meet them, just buy! You will not regret 😉
