Bếp của quán khai thác từ ít nhất nửa tá nền ẩm thực khác nhau mà vẫn giữ được sự mạch lạc: bowl Shawarma Ramah kết hợp gà áp chảo cháy cạnh với za'atar, feta và dưa chuột muối chua; bowl Argentinean Herb Sauce xếp lớp bơ và đậu đen lên nền gạo đỏ; còn Pull Up Plate lấy gạo lứt, sauerkraut củ cải và trứng soy lòng đào làm điểm tựa. Bowl LGBTQ — quinoa, guacamole, bacon, trứng chần và hành tím ngâm chua — là lựa chọn ổn định cho ai muốn bữa ăn giàu đạm mà không cảm thấy nặng bụng.
Phần snack cũng đáng để khám phá. Corn chips đi kèm salsa sả mang đậm hương vị Đông Nam Á, khoai tây chiên phục vụ cùng wasabi mayonnaise, còn Roasted Eggplant Dip là một dạng baba ghanoush kiểu miso ăn với bánh mì dẹt — sự kết hợp lạ miệng nhưng lại ăn khớp bất ngờ. Hummus củ dền trên bánh sourdough khép lại một mục thực đơn thích hợp để nhâm nhi suốt buổi chiều dài.
Đồ uống theo cùng một mạch tư duy tự do đó: cold brew hoa dâm bụt với cherry syrup và soda đặt cạnh trà xanh vải thiều và trà đào đá đơn giản mà dễ uống. Quán mở cửa lúc 8 giờ sáng vào cuối tuần, trở thành một trong những bếp mở sớm nhất ở khu vực này của quận dành cho một bữa brunch đúng nghĩa.
Green Box thu hút đủ thành phần khách: người nước ngoài, dân công sở địa phương và những thực khách chú trọng sức khỏe, hay đọc thành phần trước khi gọi món. Quán không cố gắng trở thành điểm đến ẩm thực đặc biệt — không gian bình dị, phần ăn được thiết kế cho bữa trưa hơn là một bữa tối kéo dài — nhưng thực đơn hàm chứa sự cân nhắc chân thực hơn phần lớn các quán cùng tầm giá ở Thảo Điền.
What a cute space! The greenery surrounding the restaurant is so pretty and peaceful. I ordered the 'tahini tahini' falafel bowl and oh my!! It was absolutely divine! Perfect balance of all the ingredients. The staff were attentive & friendly. Great place to work on the computer, overall a great experience. I'm definitely coming back for that salad, one of the best I've ever had. So happy right now 😍
We stopped by Green Box around 11 AM with our toddler before heading out on a long car trip, and it turned out to be the perfect little break. The Red Detox drink was super refreshing—our toddler loved it! My cappuccino was excellent as well, smooth and well-balanced. We tried two noodle dishes—the ramen and a carbonara-style pasta. Both were just okay. The carbonara had a bit of a strong porky smell, and the noodles in both dishes were a little softer than we prefer. That said, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, especially to our curious toddler. One even gently helped keep him from wandering too far while he explored. As we were leaving, we accidentally broke a glass and felt terrible, but the staff was so gracious—they told us not to worry at all and warmly invited us to come back again. And we will! Next time we’ll definitely try one of their salads (our toddler’s not a salad fan, so we skipped that today haha). Lovely experience overall, and we appreciate the warm hospitality. My trusted salad place in town and I highly recommend you to come and try. Super fresh ingredients with a diversity of choices. You might get shocked by the size as well. It feeds your stomach well enough not to have any hunger later lol
This is a regular favorite of mine, the menu is not too complicated which makes all the food delicious and carefully prepared. All very reasonably prices, service is great.
🥪Food: Healthy and tasty, their sourdough bread was exceptional. The food was beautifully decorated 🪑Space: Pretty big with colorful and vibey design. There was a small market outside with vendors selling handmade items. However, the bathroom was not attentively cared for though. 💁♂️Service: We went on a Sunday noon and it was quite crowded so the servers probably were overloaded.
