Việc chuyển đến Song Hành ở Bình Trưng Đông có thêm không gian rộng rãi hơn nhưng không thay đổi tinh thần cốt lõi — udon tự tay làm, được cán và cắt tươi theo từng đơn, điều này phân biệt quán với phần lớn nhà hàng Nhật tại TP.HCM vốn dùng mì làm sẵn.
Thực đơn đa dạng hơn so với cái tên udon gợi lên: sashimi, yakitori, các món cơm, cùng cả udon nóng lẫn udon lạnh. Udon chiên là món được nhắc đến nhiều nhất — kết cấu giòn rụm thực sự hiếm gặp, ăn kèm nước chấm đậm vị bù đắp cho sợi mì vốn thanh nhạt. Cơm gà yakitori là món ruột của nhà hàng, đủ sức kéo khách quay lại chỉ vì nó. Sashimi được đánh giá nhất quán về độ tươi, một số thực khách nhận xét cách cắt và bày cá lên cơm đạt chuẩn Nhật.
Nhà hàng có hai tầng. Tầng trệt phù hợp hơn cho khách gặp khó khăn về di chuyển, vì tầng trên — vốn kiêm khu vực hút thuốc — cần leo cầu thang. Mỗi bàn đều có chuông gọi phục vụ, tiện lợi trong giờ cao điểm khi nhân viên không thể để ý đến từng bàn. Đặt bàn trước là lựa chọn thực tế, nhất là vào buổi tối cuối tuần hoặc khi đi theo nhóm đông.
Các lựa chọn BBQ và đồ uống ở đây chỉ đóng vai phụ — đủ dùng chứ không nổi bật. Điểm thu hút chính vẫn là sự kết hợp giữa udon và sashimi, tạo ra bản sắc rõ ràng hơn cho Ebisu District 2 so với nhiều quán Nhật ở Thao Dien phân tán qua quá nhiều mảng. Eat here if you wish to bathe in food odors. Eat sashimi if you wish to know that fish are not very fresh. Stirred fried udon is very oily and salty. Not recommended.
Yakitori chicken rice is the ultimate comfort food! Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and so satisfying. 5 stars for everything! 🫶🏻😊
Do not come here for the udon! Though this place has its own menu for udon with so many kinds, the taste just sucks. The broth lacks everything an udon should offer. Other dishes, specifically, the sashimi, are fine. The staff that days were kinda dull. The one who welcomed us initially suggested that we come to the upper floor (which is smoking area) awaring that I'm pregnant. The one who served our table was slow, and missed 1 plate from our order.
Not even pearl or round rice - don’t say Japanese rice is served. This Restaurant must be hiring many TikTokers and GenZ GenAlpha to boost promotions.
