Food was good. Service was nice. The place is nice, but smelled like cigarette. I think people can smoke where they shouldn't.

Like the way they make sushi here, just like in Japan. Fish are fresh and tender! The skewers are not so delicious though. The sticky rice fried, not my favorite. Definitely go for sushi and tempura
This restaurant was the closest Japanese style sushi place that I had back in Japan. You could see it by the way the fishes were laid on the rice. Fishes were fresh as well. Their BBQ stuff was so so, not great. The sticky rice fried thingy was also weird, lol. Not too impressed with their drink menu either. Service was excellent, though.
Ebisu is our go-to Japanese restaurant. The restaurant decor could use some refreshing but is otherwise alright. We like that the food is consistently good. The sashimi is fresh and I like that their udon is freshly made to order. Their yakitoris are a little dry so a little less time on the grill would elevate the dish. Service is a little slow during busy times but having the call bell at the table makes it easy to get attention.
The one and only handmade udon in Saigon. A good varieties of udon (hot or cold). Besides udon, there are many selections too. Personally love the fried udon, it was so crunchy and unique. Must order fried udon if you are here for udon. Slightly salty if you just eat plain fried udon, must dip into their sauce. Overall food was nice. High recommended to make reservation especially if you bring old folks, try to request the tables at ground floor so they don’t need to climb the staircase.
