The Story

About This Place

WorkFlow Thảo Điền solves a problem most Saigon cafés leave unsolved: it splits its space into two zones with different rules. The free café section operates like any standard coffee shop — order a drink or a meal and take a table. The paid co-working floor, at 30,000 VND per hour, runs quieter, with proper desk setups, private booths, conference rooms, and workstations equipped with additional screens for those who need dual monitors. The separation keeps both areas functioning as intended.

The coffee program leans into cold brew, with baristas known for their technique and enthusiasm for the craft. The food menu covers enough ground to sustain a full workday — the veggie noodle soup earns repeat mentions across reviews, and the lemon plant seed drink has developed something of a following among regulars. One consistent caveat from reviewers: food pricing runs higher than the typical Thao Dien café.

The clientele skews young and international — digital nomads, expats on month-long stays, and local freelancers who treat the place as a daily base. Jazz plays through both zones at a volume that fills the room without disrupting concentration. Staff consistently receive praise across reviews, not just for friendliness but for the kind of attentiveness that remembers a forgotten laptop charger. Manager Trinh has built a team with noticeably low turnover and high morale — multiple reviewers name her specifically.

At 39 Nguyễn Duy Hiệu, the address puts it within easy reach of the core Thao Dien grid. Hours run 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM seven days a week, covering both the early-morning laptop crowd and evening sessions that stretch past dinner. The paid co-working zone requires booking for groups, a detail worth confirming ahead of team visits.

This is a working space cum cafe. Serves reasonable lunch there. Ordered the banh mi with pate. Really delicious.

A bit pricy drinks for small portion so this place is like you pay for drinks to stay longer for you to work. There are open space and quieter area (extra charge) separated. When busier, internet speed goes down and a bit uncomfortable to work. Basically most people here working so its a nice place to focus on working. There are Japanese Ghibli jazz tracks on as BGM, I feel like this is not in Vietnam but in somewhere in advanced nations in Asia like Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong... nice place.

I absolutely love this place :). I’m here almost everyday, I get the veggie noodle soup (pho) and the lemon, plan seed drink for lunch - they are both delicious! The people that work here are very friendly and attentive with ordering and refilling water. It does get quite busy at lunch time most days but there is an outdoor area to sit in if the inside is full. Would highly recommend giving it a go if you are working remotely, the internet is good and you can work in the cafe or in the work areas. Love the food, people and workspace!!
